I highly recommend Tim Cowan of DayStar plumbing. Very knowledgable, professional - he did not try to cut corners......I cannot tell you how reasonable priced he is. We had a leak under our kitchen sink....found out that the dishwasher was backed up with goop too. He replaced the airgap on the garbage disposal with a copper one and gave us a new hose also. He replaced the leaky chrome extension piece at the drain. and snaked the disposal...
He is very fair and honest......what plumber does that anymore !!!! He is local in Pacifica - his card even includes his address, and business license. So happy I found him. !!!!

We woke up after a big storm and thought I heard drip, drip, drip coming from our garage. Oh dear, is the roof leaking? No, not the roof. But it was lucky that I heard the dripping because it turned out that our water heater had just blown. No hot water and the possibility of 40 gallons of water emptying into my garage.

I immediately called Timothy Cowan, owner of Daystar Plumbing. And he answered on the third ring! We have used Timothy's services before to install two high profile toilets and a new kitchen faucet and were very satisfied with his work and his honor/work ethic.

He quickly drove over to ascertain what the situation was. Discussed replacement of standard water heater or moving over to tankless (we asked him and he gave us pros and cons).

We made our decision to stay with electric tank water heater and he said he'd be back the next day at 9:00 am with everything needed to complete the job. And he was! We are very pleased with the repair and bringing us up to code for safety.

Timothy is your go-to man for your plumbing needs!

If your looking for an honest great Plumber, Timothy is your guy! I called him today with an issue I was having with my toilet leaking. He said send me some photos then call me back. I did and he talked me through the very simple task to fix the leak. No charge!!

Timothy was great, very professional and made sure I understood exactly what he was doing when he came out to fix a clogged bathtub. I really appreciate his professionalism, I live alone and would recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.
He even cleaned up the yuck in the tub when he was done. It's possible he left the bathroom cleaner than he found it.

I've had two wonderful professional experiences with Timothy at Daystar Plumbing. Years back he installed a new standard hot water heater for me. As happens, the hot water tank went out and very quickly he was able to install a new one. During a remodel, the standard tank was replaced with an on-demand unit. After many years, it experienced an issue and I was unable to have the company that installed it come back. Timothy came over and troubleshooted the issue -- though it wasn't a brand that he usually services -- providing a short term fix until I could get it fully operational. Greatly appreciate his kind manner, professionalism and willingness to troubleshoot problems.

Timothy was great. He was able to repair our water heater the same day that we called him and he saved us from having to buy a new water heater. He's a friendly knowledgeable professional helpful guy who knows how to safely and correctly solve plumbing and gas problems. He showed up at our house exactly when he said he would. He does work alone, so you may find yourself wanting to help him track down parts in order to save his time and your money.
