Timothy is incredibly helpful and has wonderful customer service. I was not able to book him for his plumbing services, as he was already booked. I read glowing reviews about him on Nextdoor.com and needed a plumber same day. Even though he wasn't available, he still asked what my problem was and identified the issue. In addition, he provided a few recommendations for other local plumbers that may be available.

Thank you Timothy at DayStar for providing excellent customer service! I will definitely call you the next time we need a plumber!

Timothy was great. He was able to repair our water heater the same day that we called him and he saved us from having to buy a new water heater. He's a friendly knowledgeable professional helpful guy who knows how to safely and correctly solve plumbing and gas problems. He showed up at our house exactly when he said he would. He does work alone, so you may find yourself wanting to help him track down parts in order to save his time and your money.

Again, like someone before me I was unable to use Daystar Plumbing for a variety of un-controlled factors. Nevertheless, if I had a plumbing emergency/need again, I would not hesitate a single second before calling Daystar/Timothy (the owner) again. I URGE YOU TO DO THE SAME!!!

When people say ""above and beyond"", everyone knows what that means-and yet that doesn't seem to suffice what happened; how he cared about my situation, genuinely wanted to help, and provided references that he had great experience with. I can't even find the correct verbiage to express the way Timothy took an interest in my ""hot water heater explosion"" and resulting severe water damage situation (who knew a 40 gallon tank in a mere 1000 sq. foot townhouse could do all this?), AND moreover, did more follow up as to how both I and my situation were doing a few days later, then the actual company I used (which wasn't a bad company, they just didn't provide both the information and the follow through that Daystar Plumbing/Timothy did.). He even called ahead on the day of the ""explosion"" to a water restoration company to explain my situation to them so they would understand when I called (of course I was hoping this meant the, ""friend of a friend discount""-but please know this is how MY mind works when I'm looking at TEN's of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS in repairs-this is NOT something he EVER said or promised).

Unfortunately I was unable to use that company as well, as Allstate (can I just say that ALLSTATE MORE THAN DESERVES 5 STARS in the handling of this claim- that grows and grows by the day-VICKI AND MOHAMMED-you guys ARE STARS!) called in their own water restoration company-which is turning out perfectly fine but as I said, I was quite shocked when Timothy/Daystar Plumbing, CALLED TO ASK ME HOW EVERYTHING TURNED OUT A FEW DAYS LATER, when I have NEVER heard from the plumbing company I used (to be fair, I I don't know if I'm supposed to have had any follow up, but if I was-Daystar Plumbing/Timothy, provided it and he wasn't even the company I used or paid. I really feel like I need to write him a check and yet I know that's not why he did it. (It's also good because I am tapped out.)

Timothy, the owner of Daystar Plumbing is, AMAZINGLY KNOWLEDGEABLE, TRULY KIND, MOST DEFINITELY KNOWS THE MEANING OF ""CUSTOMER SERVICE"" and ""FOLLOW-THROUGH/UP""- all of this, whether you end up being a paying customer or not-TRULY ONE OF A KIND!!!

I wish the stars had aligned and I could've used him for my plumbing emergency, but I'm hoping that someone here will heed my advice, and call him first to see if he's available. I do not believe you will be sorry.

Daystar/Timothy was prompt, honest, thorough, and totally pleasant! He fixed up our leaky tub, and even replaced our handles (had parts in truck) to bring us up to date (at reasonable cost). He also took the time to provide additional education about our water main and the repair in general... at no extra cost :-). I highly recommend Daystar Plumbing.

We just have had our dripping Delta single handle shower faucet fixed. The handle was rusted out too, so it required a cutting off, but he did all that work quickly and we are off to the New Year with completely fixed shower.

Tim is very easy to work with and very responsive on his cell phone and text messaging. He will even tell people honestly, when he is too busy to handle immediate issues.

He can receive and respond text message and especially it will make his job quicker if you send him the picture of the issues. He will give you updates as to whether he is delayed etc.

He will also clearly explain what he will and has done and provide any recommendations and also give you the price up front. Often ends up less than he initially quotes.

He is Pacifica based so for the coast-side residents like us, he is an excellent resource to keep our plumbing in good order. Highly recommended.

Did not even use Daystar because they were totally booked with work and I needed a water heater replaced asap. That said, I have to give Timothy an awesome review. He was legitimately concerned with my plight and spent a LOT of time and energy on the phone with me, finding someone that he would recommend to do the job for me. He didn't have to do any of that but he took the time out of his busy schedule to make sure my plumbing emergency was covered. Even if not by him! Fantastic service! Great guy!

Cost me $160 for zero work. This guy is super slow and very long winded. Came over the house to diagnose three problems. After telling me he could not replace a water heater, what kind of plumber doesn't do this seemingly easy task, I showed him two other problems which he spent way too much time looking at. My time is more valuable than wasting it listening to him over explain about how hard the job would be. Then he quoted $475 to replace a faucet and strainer. I told him I would get someone else to do the job and was quoted $275 to do the same work.

I contacted Daystar Plumbing regarding installation of a waterline for an ice maker. Timothy talked me through what needed to be done and let me text pictures of the plumbing that would need to be navigated. He helped me realize that it didn't make sense for me to pay to have this done. Additionally, it wasn't a good idea for me to do this myself. He spent 15 minutes of time on the phone with me talking about what he saw in the photos I sent him. He was extremely professional and very good at explaining what I saw.

He was very knowledgable and honest. He could have easily just taken my money instead of helping me understand the situation. I will use him in the future and would recommend him to others.
