They took a while to complete the work because they're booked/busy, but they were fair and honest. First plumber quoted us $750 for the same job Day did for $100 trip fee and 2 hours at $150/h. So, that's for $400, for the non math people. Savings of $350, nearly half.
Tweed the plumber was polite, knowledgeable and fair. Will use again should the beed arise

Day Plumbing has been very responsive and reliable. We inherited a rather odd Radiant Heat system and Nor has always been able to repair and tweak our system. We recently met the new owner, Bryan, who also attended a recent service call. We believe his leadership will take Day Plumbing to higher quality service. In 1996, Day Plumbing and Heating designed and installed the plumbing and heating system in my custom home located in Evergreen, Colorado. The heating system is hydronic, i.e., heated water is used (radiant heat on two floors and hot water baseboard on the upper level). Two key components of the radiant heating system are the boiler (which heats the water) and tubing that carries the heated water underneath the flooring to heat the house. When my house was built, it was known within the plumbing and heating industry that if iron or steel heating components (such as the boiler) are used in a radiant heat system, the radiant tubing MUST be non-oxygen permeable. Otherwise, the boiler and other iron components will corrode and rust. Unfortunately, Day Plumbing apparently did not realize this. They installed a cast iron boiler system and used oxygen-permeable tubing for the radiant heating system. Result: a boiler that corroded and must now be replaced.

When I recently realized why my boiler is rusting out, I asked Day Plumbing to provide a bid to replace the boiler and related equipment with stainless steel components that will not rust. Because of the mistake Day Plumbing had made, I asked them to bid the job so as to make normal profit on all the labor, but to provide the materials to me at Day Plumbing's cost. Mike of Day Plumbing came out, inspected the system, and told me he thought my proposal was more than fair. Three weeks later and four unanswered telephone calls later, Day Plumbing finally bid the job at full price and full profit -- a total bid amount no lower than I had been quoted by a different plumbing and heating company.

Having made a serious error that caused me to have to replace my heating system far earlier than would otherwise have been necessary, I expected Day Plumbing to make some attempt to stand behind its work and to make things right with me. They made no such attempt. My experience is anecdotal to be sure, but it suggests to me a complete lack of customer service. Patronize Day Plumbing and Heating at your peril.

We have used Day Plumbing & Heating for years, never had a problem with them until we experienced very poor service from them. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed and not satisfied with there heating service. The gentlemen who came to our home(his name was Mike), to figure out why our heat was not working properly. We had minor heating problems before he came to work on the heat, and when he left our home, nothing was working! We had no Heat for 36 hours! No customer service after hours either! This guy seemed very stressed, did not treat his customers with respect, and did not want to explain what the problem was to his customers in an adult/professional manner. I would recommend going elsewhere or shop around with other heating and plumbing before you decide.

Would never use this company again!!!
We have an older home, therefore the fixtures are older and harder to replace.
They first fixed a bathroom leak and replaced the wall mount handles with sink handles that didn't fit, which kept falling off every time we used the shower. Charged us $180.00 for work that was completely unprofessional.
Had to call them back because they never followed through as they said they would to come and replace the handles that were not correct.
Show up 2 weeks later and replace them with cheap acrylic handles (22.00) and a new faucet for (22.00) as well. Then proceeded to tell us that we now owe them 276.00 for travel time and work!
Highway robbery!!! They have no integrity and we will never use or recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about Day Plumbing and Heating in Indian Hills, CO. I live in Evergreen, and I've used their services for many years, now, and their work and their customer service are outstanding. They've arranged to come to my house quickly when there's been an emergency (no heat), and on regular calls, they have always arrived very close to when they said they would be there. I recently had them install a new boiler in my home, and I really appreciated that they called the following day just to make sure that everything was working properly and that I didn't have any questions or concerns.
