I scheduled and appointment at least 3 days in advance. On the day the work was to be done, I sat home all day waiting for their arrival. Finally around 3:30pm I called the scheduler, who never bothered to call me to give me an update or an estimate time of arrival. She contacted the plumber who gave her a time of 6pm. I took a whole day off from work for a 6pm appointment? I told them to forget it !

I had a $268 water bill and water in my driveway so I expected the worst. I read the water meter and realized my next water bill would be even higher because the water was leaking even faster now at 1,000 gallons/day. Day and night came over and fixed the underground leak the same day and at a great price. I will certainly refer anyone to use them. It seemed like the technician actually cared about my satisfaction which, in this day and age, is rare. They also fixed 2 leaky faucets inside. Very pleased!

The main pipe from the meter into our home broke, causing a leak we didn't know about until the water bill arrived, 4 times what we usually have to pay. I called several companies for an estimate. Several charged me to come out to give the estimate, which ranged wildly - from $6500 to $1900. Day and Night came right over to do the estimate, didn't charge me for it, was at the low end of the prices and scheduled the job within three days of my first call. They worked through a rainy day, cleared, cleaned and repaired all of the areas in the front yard they'd had to dig up, and the new pipe works just fine. They were also personable and professional. I'll definitely be calling them again if I have another plumbing disaster.

I would not recommend Day and Night Plumbing to anyone. We used them for a large renovation job, and had issues with basically everything that they touched. They installed a (brand new) shower fixture in a second story bathroom that leaked so bad that it ruined drywall below and after just one use puddled on the floor in the room below- it was something that anyone considers themselves a professional plumber should have caught. In addition, they installed the bathtub u-drain on another second story bathroom so that it sits below the ceiling height of the kitchen below. We can't even use that bathtub because the valves (not the faucet) leak at the floor. This was after they initially installed the wrong parts (used bare copper line instead of the valve lines that we'd purchased), they came out to fix it, and installed the new pieces completely wrong so that it looks bad and it leaks if we turn the valves on. We had numerous other issues- hot water heater drain line installed at an upward angle (so that it wouldn't actually drain out but would flow back to the water heater.) We hired a second plumber to come out and fix all of their errors and when they saw the work they were shocked and confused at how unprofessional the work appeared to be. If these guys were cheap, I could understand lower quality- but they charged us $10K and all I can say is that this is the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor.
