My AC unit went out and these guys wanted to charge an arm and a leg to fix it like people don't have that kind of money anymore. They don't understand that people could be dying from heat exhaustion because of greed like this, like elderly. They are cold hearted and hateful. Hope the devil you are worshipping is getting all the results you deserve. No service and hateful attack to elderly.

Update: A second opinion was warranted by AHS. They found Dawson Services estimated approximately TEN TIMES which was reasonable.

the most unprofessional people i have ever encountered as a consumer. employees are allowed to disrespect, and be rude. i was actually screamed at and hung up on. do your research, do not use this company.

It''s like deja vu reading these reviews. I never post reviews, but felt compelled to do so as this company is dishonest. I also have American Home Shield on my home and during the coldest time of this winter my furnace was not working properly. They sent out a technician who said I needed a new furnace and that there was a crack in the heat exchange. He said that it was leaking carbon monoxide and turned off my furnace. Fortunately my boyfriend knows something about furnaces and I have a CO monitor that did not detect any CO which was placed right by the furnace. They submitted an order for a new furnace, but recommended I get a smaller furnace which was going to cost me 1500 dollars out of pocket. I insisted on a second opinion who was honest and determined that I needed a new ignition and sensor cleaned. It just is so upsetting that this company tried to leave me with no heat and scare me into paying for a new furnace which I did not need. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!

We have a home warranty through American shield so they chose this company initially. This company was contacted on Friday to come repair our central air. They said they would try to do the repairs Saturday and if they couldn't do them Saturday they'd get to us on Monday. They'd be contacting us later Friday about Saturday. So they call at 7:30 pm. We missed the call so we called back and got a voicemail so we left a message. No return call or anything all weekend. I call Monday at 7:30 or so to follow up their hours are 9-5. A woman answers and tells me it'll have to be Tuesday because they're booked. I remind her they've told American shield they'd do it on Monday if they couldn't get to me by Saturday. She says well I'm not in the office I need to listen to my calls and do our schedule and I'll call you back by 10 am. We'll squeeze you in today. So right here is a prime example of poor management. So she's not in the office but can answer the phone. We leave a message she doesn't respond all weekend then says they are booked but yet needs to get to the office to listen to calls and make a schedule!? I've already called on Friday. I agreed to wait for her to call me back by 10 am. Guess what happened!? Yep no call back. Very unreliable and very unprofessional!!

Even one star is too much. Rude and unprofessional secretary. The beauty of technology is that you can tell when people lie about calling and leaving messages. Or when they play ignorant when it comes to the details of the work to be done. AHS needs to realize that businesses like this reflect their company as well.

I have American Home Shield Warranty on my home, my furnace stopped operating. AHS dispatched Dawson Service to my home. The technician said had had several bad parts, a crack somewhere carbon monoxide is leaking, etc.. take in mind I do have a carbon monoxide detector in my basement buy my furnace. He untruthfully diagnosed my furnace in hope of replacing my entire unit. My claim was denied. I called another company out myself and The tech properly and truthfully diagnosed my furnace. I only had a bad Rollout switch causing my furnace to fail. He checked for carbon monoxide leaks which there weren't. Reported compant to AHS and got my $100 service fee refunded. Dishonest company!!!! Stay away

Shady. They left me without ac with a newborn for 1 month in the summer. When they did fix the problem, they did not obtain proper permits or do it to code. Now that I am trying to correct the problem, they keep saying they are busy with emergency calls. This has been going on for weeks. Also this phone number is not even correct, probably intentionally trying to fly under the radar. Do not use them under any circumstances.
