We had Davis and sons come out to install a hot water heater that we had bought from Home Depot. they were efficient, on-time and the estimate is exactly what we paid. we will use this company for future plumbing issues

I purchased a garbage disposal and installation through Home Depot on a Friday. Davis & Sons had until Wednesday to schedule the installation service due to the weekend and holiday. Despite calling them on Tuesday and Wednesday to request a date and explain I was without use of my sink, no one returned the call. I had to cancel my prepaid service. I would say terrible customer service, but NO customer service is a better description. My money will go to a company that cares about its customers.

I've read all the reviews and the 1*Star ratings about the """"woman answering the phone"""" did it for me. She has to be a relative since if she's working for a paycheck, she wouldn't last with these GA """"good 'ole boys"""". It stinks, but """"it is what it is"""". I too suspect 5 star ratings and only give 3 or 4 on only 1 job. How can anyone know these are always 5*star experiences. You can't. I liken it to the neighbor who says they've had """"ABC homeowners or car insurance and they've been g r e a t"""". I ask, how many claims have you had? Well, they say, n o n e! So... how can you say ABC Insurance has been great? They can't, and neither can 1 5*rating!

The lady who answers the phone is VERY rude. I'm all about good customer service and she just ruined it for me. I'm sure alot of people change their mind about this company because of that rude lady. No one wants to deal with that kind of people. Smh. I Don't recommend

We really appreciated that they showed up first thing on a Sunday morning when we called late Saturday night. Keyon was very professional and knowledgeable! We highly recommend Davis & Sons Plumbing!

They Installed my water heater, but had 3 issues. 1. I requested a 50gallon water heater and when they arrived they brought a 40 gallon. They had to go back to home depot to exchange. 2. they did not install the water heater I had requested. I wanted a smart water heater, and did not get a smart water heater. They installed a cheaper version (150$ cheaper) They charged me 900$ to install, and 500$ for a cheap water heater. 1400$ total for a shitty water heater. When I asked about it after they installed, the gentleman told me hes training his receptionist, and that he was sorry if she gave me wrong information. Both my home depot requests were for a SMART water heater. Didnt get what I wanted. Oh well.Twice they brought the wrong water heater!!!!. 3. Had to call 2x on 2 occasions to get my 2 receipts of 700$.. Never recieved anything while they were here.. A receipt should be automatic

I just moved back into a house that I had rented out for the past few years. The property management company I used apparently had an exclusive deal with Davis for plumbing repairs. I have invoices from Davis & Sons for $4,115 of work over the last 4 years, including big ticket items like replacing the line from the street to the house, new water heater, sewer line replacement, etc. I lived in the house for over 10 years before I rented it out with a total of one new water heater and a clogged sewer pipe, so the number of plumbing repairs since 2015 seemed excessive but shame on me for trusting the property management company. These last few days that I've been back in the house, I noticed that I needed a couple of issues addressed. Since they did all the plumbing the last 4 years I gave them a call. I was not asking for anything free, anything warranty related (although I'm not impressed with the quality of their previous work), just if they could come out and give me an estimate on a couple of things. Now the zinger is that I cannot get these Davis people to call me back. The woman who answers the phone has been the epitome of rude and unhelpful, informing me that I was not their customer because the work had been done at the request of the property management company. Oddly enough it was my $4,000 that went into Davis's bank account, but OK whatever lady. So I asked again if I could get an estimate of how much they would charge to fix their previous repairs. The times I called, she would say that her service manager would have to call me and they were already out for the day or in a meeting blah blah blah. I'm not sure where these 5 star reviews on yelp and google are coming from, but the words to describe my experience with this company would be shoddy and shady.

I have a condo in a high rise that was experiencing a water heater failure, potentially a catastrophe if not handled urgently. Because of the limited space, the install is more complex than a regular system since pipes need to be removed in order to switch it out. I worked with Justin who gave an extremely competitive, all inclusive quote that won among the bidders by a small $$ margin but everyone I met along the way at Davis was extremely professional and earned some trust. The plumbers did an excellent job, were very knowledgeable, and performed the work in a reasonable amount of time. All that, and the bill matched the estimate. Why is it so hard to find a business like this?? Bravo. Side note- another review mentioned the receptionist (Phyllis probably) 1) I think she's probably doing three peoples work up there 2) I'm not originally from the South so I more than appreciate someone who just wants to get it done, save the sugar for later! 3) I'd bet anything that if she was 'rude' to you, it's because she doesn't have time for nonsense, so don't bring any.

I cannot say enough good things about Davis and Sons. My sewer ejector pump stopped working on a Sunday. I called Davis and Sons and spoke with Justin, who stated that sending someone out after hours would be very expensive. Instead, he patiently talked me through some troubleshooting steps and thanks to his expertise and advice, my pump started working again. The following day, the pump appeared to be malfunctioning again. Again, I called Davis and Sons and the person I spoke with on the phone stated she would have someone out that day. She stated that it might be late in the day which I said was fine. The two technicians who came out that evening were friendly and professional even though I am sure they were at the end of a very long work day. They checked out my pump, made some adjustments, got it running and then tested everything again to make sure it was working properly. When I asked how much I owed for the visit, they told me their boss Justin said there was no charge for the visit. I honestly, could not believe my ears. I was so thankful that the pump was fixed and beyond grateful for the excellent customer service, then to have Justin not charge for the visit was almost beyond my comprehension, especially in this day and age. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing repairs. Such an excellent experience.

Had a new hot water heater installed in my rental property. Found Davis & Sons on Yelp. Started at 5 stars. Dropped to 4 when the installer showed up without the unit and had to leave and return with it. Dropped to 3 when after unit was installed, the tech showed me stain on the carpet left by something on the bottom of his toolbox. He did apologize. I went ahead and paid to get the carpet cleaned. I spoke to Justin, the owner, and let him know about the situation. I explained that I had a tenant moving in that weekend. He asked me to send him pictures of the carpet stain and he'd see what he could do. I sent him the pictures That was three weeks ago and I've heard nothing. Two stars. The unit does work well though... Follow up to previous post...Justin apologized for the mix up and offered compensation for all my trouble. He also sent a crew out to handle a separate issue on this property, FREE of charge. I appreciate the owner's quick response to my frustration. I plan to use Davis & Sons for any future plumbing needs on this property. Four stars.
