I called Doug to replace a kitchen faucet. He returned my call very quickly and arrived on time for the appointment. He was extremely quick and completed the project perfectly. I had him back to do some additional plumbing and again his performance was exemplary. I would highly recommend this plumber.

I recently had work performed by Doug
And just like Mike V said this guy is a con artist and should be put out of business.
To start with 1st he was over hour late which resulted in me being an hour late for work quoted me 1 price but as he kept talking to me price changed several times before I knew bill was $110 more I asked where the extra cost come from he stated.I to check the system (i.e. check his repair) which translate to cunning me not only that I got charged the hour he was late but lost money for me being a hour late to work.
To make matters worse I made another appointment for the following week and he called me 4 hours later than appointment was scheduled at that time I realized he was just plain right awful. Decide to look for someone else to do the work that would be more honest and respectful to my time for a repair he stated I also needed.
I call him one more time to let him know the problem that he had supposed to fix wasn't fix and I needed this resolve well for a change he was on time but ended up charging me an additional $155 saying this would take care of the problem as I looked at my receipt I noticed this con artist charged me again for coming back (call back) I told Doug the problem was never resolved from the 1st time and why I'm I been charged again he stated you have to pay for my time.
Close to $500 dollars later still dealing with the initial problem. Stay away from this guy and report to the BB.

Doug of Davis Plumbing & Irrigation responded in a timely manner and I was very happy with the outcome of the service he provided as my backyard sprinkler system was not operating as it should . He is an individual who knows his stuff when it comes to plumbing. He analyzed the situation and provided an explanation to what was going on with the sprinklers. He made the needed repairs and was on his way. Doug exemplifies a skilled tradesman who is honest, hard working, traits that are sometimes difficult to find in today's world. I would definitely call DAVIS PLUMBING AND IRRIGATION in the future.

When it says 5 stars = Woohoo! As good as it gets! that is EXACTLY the quality service that I received from Doug. :D I contacted him at 3pm about a water main leak that was nearly 24 hours old, when my home warranty company's contracted provider failed to make any contact. I left a somewhat desperate voicemail, Doug got back to me very quickly and thank everything, he was willing to come out and take a look the very same day. He was careful to caution that he might not be able to repair it until the following day, but he also instructed me how to shut off the water main at the city meter when my house main shutoff didn't stop the leak. Doug arrived at my house within two hours of the call (after his preceding appointment) and pretty much jumped right in to fixing the leak. Doug was extremely knowledgeable and professional as he explained the problem, how it had most likely occurred, and what he would have to do for the somewhat unconventional repair. Less than two hours after that, having worked into the evening for my unexpected repair, the work was completed and cleaned up! Doug was a lifesaver and I am so happy that I decided to contact him myself. He's the best!!! I will be sharing his contact information with everyone at work, and you shouldn't hesitate to call him too! Thank you so much Doug (and Dylan!). :)))))

Doug Davis just repaired our sprinkling system after our 8 month old Labrador decided he should tear it out piece by piece. Doug repaired our system and dog proofed it.
