It is SO hard to find a decent plumber, but I highly recommend Davis Plumbing. We recently bought a house and have had issues with the toilets as well as some other issues. We called on a Monday and were able to make an appointment for Wednesday. Melvin called Tuesday morning and said he could send someone that day. Awesome! Alex came out, and he is truly THE MAN. After learning that we have a water pressure issue, he looked in every nook and cranny of our house to find a water shutoff valve that I mentioned we couldn't find. After talking to him more about our situation, he made some suggestions that our home inspector mentioned that we needed to make anyway. He got us a quick estimate that was pretty damn affordable and immediately got to work after I gave him the go-ahead. He got everything done in just a little over two hours and was on his way to his next job. I would definitely use these guys again and will recommend them to anyone who needs a good, honest plumber. And if you are lucky to have Alex come out, he's super cool and likes water, so be sure to offer him some.

Melvin Davis was very personable on the phone, and knew the issue with a quick explanation of the symptoms. His plumber (Kevin) worked around my tenant's hectic schedule. Upon arriving he found the problem to be much worse than originally anticipated but this did not phase him and he was able to complete the job. There was a minor miscommunication between myself, the owner Melvin, and the master plumber Kevin, but Melvin bent over backwards to insure customer service was his number 1 priority, not many companies recognize it's importance like Melvin Plumbing.

These guys are great! They had the most competitive pricing by far (and believe me, I did my homework). We already knew what the issue was, and Melvin gave me a price right up front on the phone - none of this """"trip fee"""" nonsense. We set an appointment up for two days later, in between the hours of 3-5 pm. Andy arrived around 2:50, after calling first to alert me that he was on the way. He took a look, got some parts, and got right to work. He was extremely professional, friendly, and did an awesome job. If you are looking for a great plumber with good work ethics, great customer service, and the best rates in town, you need to call these guys.

I only spoke with Davis Plumbing for 3 minutes and I already trust them. My Dispos-All had died over the weekend and I tried to fix it myself. When I realized I couldn't, I called them up and asked if they could. Over the phone, they told me how to reset the GFCI unit beneath the container and it works! No service call; no charge. They easily could have charged me $50-$100 for the visit just to throw a switch (like the HVAC people did with my AC unit...), but they did the right thing and now I'll use them for everything. I've never written a review before, but I found Davis Plumbing on Yelp! and want to make sure he gets found by others. Another company offered $90 just to come to our house and said the overall price would be approximately $300... to unclog one toilet! Davis Plumbing was there within an hour of calling and he charged $85 for the whole visit. He was friendly, professional, quick, and inexpensive. Hero of the day!! We have been renovating our house over the past several months, and low and behold on move in day we have water all in the basement when we arrive to move in! We cleaned up the water and thought it was from a hose running the day before so we went about our business. That evening - water again. We discovered it was a drain issue with the kitchen sink. We didn't run the water but the next morning we found more water I did some research and decided to call Davis Plumbing based on the reviews. They were out to the house in about an hour and a few hours later, the issue was completely resolved. Friendly, fast and very reliable. I will definitely use Davis Plumbing for any future plumbing need.

Melvin (owner) and Spenser worked a miracle of physics to get our 10yr old water heater out of a tight spot in a utility closet. I thought for sure we would need to remove part of the wall to get it out, but these guys took on a job another company refused to take, and they did the work for a fair price. I used to hold my breath anytime I needed to call a plumber--always worried that I would be taken for a ride. I would not hesitate to call Melvin again, and I will recommend Davis Plumbing to all my friends. This company is committed to building its reputation through old-fashioned hard work, fairness, and honesty. Very refreshing!

Davis Plumbing replaced our old 1950s wall-hung sink with a new sink and vanity this morning and did a great job. It was easy to schedule and everyone I talked to was courteous. During the job, he took a trip to the hardware store for a missing part (the old one didn't fit the new sink) and offered to caulk a very large gap behind the sink where our wall was warped. It looks great and it doesn't leak, which is exactly what we wanted!

Davis Plumbing responded to an urgent need for a broken water main in front of my property almost instantly on the phone and were on site within an hour to investigate. They were in communication with me all day on their progress and got to the job the same day. Their estimate was the same as the final price which was more than fair given the nature and scope of the work and the owner himself did the job in an amazing manner with the utmost of professionalism and attention to detail. I was very impressed at the quality of service I received and I will ONLY use them from now on!
