We dealt with Matt today. We had an outdoor, but house water - OFF situation. Me and my wife were extrenely pleased with our interactions with the Davis plumber, Matt. He was efficient at rendering our repair, and took the time (WHILE WORKING!!!) to explain the faulty repairs prior to his arrival. He gave me choices on materials to complete the repair, along with $$ comments while explaning. I left it to his judgement, and he then explained each of his choices and WHY. The final cost turned out to be a smidge below our estimate. But the takehome message is that - right on target, based on our internet research. We will call these guys without hesitation in the future. I recommend them to the readers.......

When it was time to pay, they preferred a check. But would not have refused a credit card. Overall -- a good interaction.

Davis Plumbing is simply... AWESOME! We have a home with OLD plumbing and apparently stainless steel or something, when they went in to repair pipes, the pipes literally fell apart in their hands. Matthew, one of the plumbers, is awesome and super funny, and he will happily show you the pipes that break apart or crud he finds, which is entertaining to say the least. ((I do know I do not want to be a plumber after this experience, but so glad they are). I have new copper pipes now, I have tankless water heater that even the guy from PGE said was installed beautifully and I have a plumber for life (hopefully, don't retire Joe, the world of plumbing needs you). I spoke with about five plumbers and the first time he showed up, calm, ready to work and fearless I knew I was going to hire him. His prices are fair and his quote was accurate. Paying him to do the work he did was a pleasure because it was done right, everything was explained and it was done relatively quickly for the amount of work that had to be done.

Eventually, we will need new pipes underground, Joe will be the first that I call. If you have plumbing issues, call him and his team, they will take care of anything you need and make you laugh while doing it, that's a WIN!

We have used them twice for two different jobs and both times they did excellent work. The first job was a sprinkler leak that we got multiple bids for. Davis plumbing was much more reasonable than all the rest. Our sprinkler job turned out to be way more complicated than they thought, but Joe and his crew kept with it and solved the problem. Plus, they kept the price exactly at the estimate. We called them later for an emergency main line back up, which also turned out to be ridiculously complicated due to the nature of our house and piping as well as the absence of a main drain clean out. They worked for 2 days, and even had to pull up part of our driveway to install a clean out. They kept with it until the problem was fixed with Joe personally running all the other guys' calls to make sure we had a full crew here to get our drains back in working condition ASAP. I was pretty scared to get that bill since it was an emergency call coming up on a holiday weekend with full crews working for 2 days. We just got it the other day, though, and Joe again was honest and reasonable. I would highly recommend them....although, I don't want them to get too much busier. What if we have another emergency?? I don't want to have to call anyone else!

I have used Davis Plumbing on a few occassions, and they never cease to amaze me with the quality of their service. I take pride in using local small biz for services on my home, and Davis Plumbing is among the best in Walnut Creek. Kenny hooked up my gas grill to the gas line that Joe Davis installed a couple of years ago, and when I came home it was done perfectly and very neatly. I will continue to use them for other services that I will need in the near future. Thanks guys!!!

Tried to replace the cartridge to the kitchen sink faucet only to realize the shut off valve for the hot water wasn't working so water shooting everywhere. Scrambling around to figure out a way to turn off the water supply so the kitchen doesn't flood was a mad scramble. Figured time to bring in the experts. Gave Davis Plumbing a ring before 8am and owner Joe Davis picked up immediately. Prior to left a message for another plumber a neighbor recommended and still haven't heard back. Joe and his crew has a full day of prescheduled work, but he had Kenny who is very knowledgeable and polite, swing by the house before his first call. Kenny stopped the leak and Joe is coming back at the end of the work day to install the new kitchen faucet and look at other plumbing needs around the house. Highly recommend Davis Plumbing for folks in the Lamorinda and Walnut Creek areas. Thanks guys!

Clogged main line on Friday night preventing use of all toilets, showers and sinks. Called on Sat. AM and owner Joe cam out within 2 hours. Young guy, very responsive and knowledgeable. Will definitely be my first call for any additional plumbing needs.

The owner Joe is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had an emergency plumbing problem at my fathers house in Walnut Creek, and called Joe for the first time,to come and take a look. He was able to get things working right away. It is rare these days to find an excellent small business owned plumbing service, that really cares about it's clients.

I had an emergency situation. I received a call Sunday morning and the basement flooded of one of my office buildings I manage. I called Davis plumbing. Joe met me on site despite the pending 'big' football game. He had the pump & equipment to take care of my situation with ease. He was professional & curtious. I would highly recommend him.
