They came out promptly and fixed a spa faucet that wasn't working and also a leaky outside water faucet. They didn't overcharge for any hardware needed and their overall price was very fair. Will use them again.

I have used Alachua Plumbing Services for the 13 years (so far) that I have lived in this area. Of course plumbing crises usually arise on weekends and after hours. I have also called them on Thanksgiving. They have always responded in a very timely manner and corrected what was wrong. I have not had issues with their prices or fees. They have always been courteous, friendly and very professional. I have always been grateful to them for their fine service. No complaints at all.

Self repair goes bad-yikes. Watched the YouTube video so now I'm an expert. Yep, sheared off the shower handle fixture. Quick turned off the water and now the whole house is out and mother in law is on the way the next day. (insert cuss words here) Call Sonny and Sons. Tells me tomorrow at 9. OK. Then calls an hour later and shows up. 3 men work hard for a few hours. Cut holes in drywall. Then tell me they can put in an inspection plate. (saves me a ton of work and money not having to put in drywall plus gave me a place to set mouse traps. That noise in the attic ain't always Santa. Very fair bill. Polite and neat work and yes they did charge retail for the fixture but that's how they make some money. Very very impressed with them. Been using them for 20 years and saw a bad review so had to post my take on them. The best of the best. I love living here.

Although the repairs were done to satisfaction, the bill was padded in both time and parts. They were physically at our home for 3.5 hours, but we were billed for 4. The parts they used were 3 times the retail cost at a home improvement store.

I called Alachua Plumbing Service because they are local and I like to support local businesses. HUGE MISTAKE. I had asked them to repair a plumbing leak in the bathroom shower. Since the house is 30 years old I had asked them to go ahead and replace other pipes and the valve for preventative maintenance. They refused to do the work. I could not believe it. I told the plumber that I was paying him and this is what I would like to do. He still refused. I would have fired him on the spot except the leak was coming out onto the floor in the house. Now I have to call another plumber out to complete the work. This is a very unprofessional company. I will never ever use their service or recommend them to anybody.
