Mr. Harry Davidson doesn't stand by his work.

True Story....

During the coldest month of 2016, I needed to have my hot water heater replaced due to gas leaks - so I called Davidson Plumbing. Initially, I was quoted $1,100.00. At the conclusion of the job he quoted me a different price because he needed assistance installing the hot water heater because of the size. My thoughts - he informed me of the size of the hot water heat when he quoted me $1,100, so he was aware that he may need assistance. He then charged me to replace my external copper pipes with bulky plastic pipes (BTW the copper pipes were in perfect condition and according to the gas company and another contractor, they did not have to be replaced because they were not in the wall).

Eleven days later, on a cold Friday evening, South Jersey gas was called to my home again for another gas leak. In addition to needing the gas line replaced, they found small gas leaks around the new meter on the new hot water heater installed by Davidson.

After contacting Davidson and explaining my predicament and the fact that SJ gas once again turned off the gas, Mr. Harry Davidson agreed to come out, but it wouldn't be until Monday, I would have to pay him and it there was a problem with the hot water heater, I would have to contact the company to have it replaced.

Really?! Not only did he stand by his work, he wanted to get paid again for correcting a minor problem and literally left his customer out in the COLD!

I ended up contacting Jenkins, who repaired my gas leakage problem and tightened up the meter on the hot water heater - and he did not charge me to resolve the hot water heater problem!

Sorry Mr. Davidson, you're a nice man, but you need to stand by your work!
