Thank GOD I asked if there was a charge just to come out. Davidson Plumbing advertises in the University Park area...which is literally 7 minutes from my home at Slauson & Figueroa. I was quoted $32.00 to drive 7 minutes...NOT!! So if I think the estimate is too much, I'm still in for $32.00...plus whatever I would have to pay someone else to do the work after finding a reasonable estimate. I was then told by the woman on the phone that, ""Oh but the guys are coming from their home and not from the office."" What?? This makes no sense. If they can't afford the gas to drive to a potential job, perhaps they shouldn't be in business.

I elected not to schedule. I wish I could get paid $32.00 each time I go off to see a client...near or far. Gesh!!

Jose is very competent and can fix indoor and outdoor problems! Big jobs or small, he gets it done. I have more trust in this company than any other plumbing companies I have used.

This review is about customer service of Davidson Plumbing:

I had made an appointment for last Tuesday but no show without notice. Called to reschedule appointment for Thursday, no show without notice. Rescheduled for Friday; no show without notice. Called and rescheduled for 8:30am today only because they told me it is going to be their first job of the day, but were told to expect them at 9am, waited until 11am- no show, no phone call. Called to find out where they are, they had a morning appointment at 8am, and were on their way; would come after 20 minutes but I had to leave the house at 12pm. Changed plans, called to ask them if they can come by before 12pm but they were already going to another appointment.

No point of being patient with them.

We needed european faucets (Grohe) installed and they did a perfect job. Showed up 5 min early and the job was done within 2 hours. We hired a different downtown LA plumber before who couldn't get it done.
I highly recommend them, especially for high-end european faucets.

I've had some terrible experiences with plumbers in the last couple of years, and others I've tried were merely disappointing in various ways. But Davidson was the complete opposite - in every respect, from scheduling to promptness to professionalism to follow-through to price -- they were amazing. What everyone else has said here, and more. From now on my number one choice for all plumbing problems.

What a fantastic choice they made. I've been thrilled with their service. Prices are super fair, and they go out of their way to ensure the job is completed correctly.

AAAAA+++++ After my plumber retired, I tried Davidson Plumbing Co. on a friend's recommendation (she's used them for many years for large and small jobs). They did not disappoint! Davidson plumbers are EXPERIENCED, SKILLED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, COURTEOUS, and FRIENDLY....all of the qualities I want in a good, honest, and trustworthy plumber (I've met Joe and Steve.) They serve the whole Los Angeles area, including Westside. A very good find!
