They damaged our ceiling and agreed to pay for damages but then ignored us.
Our upstairs heat pump stopped working in April 2022. David Klimek came out and gave us a price and we paid for half the work when we signed the contract to replace the unit. Due to manufacturing issues the unit was finally replaced at the end of May. Once the installers were done, they wanted the remaining payment right then for the heat pump. We have used David Klimek many times and did not think anything of this.
A few days after the attic unit was installed it started to leak through the ceiling and damaged the sheet rock in the room below. The installers came out again and David said there was no overflow switch installed (even though it was in the contract that it was to be installed). Due to no switch, it leaked out of the drain pan and onto the ceiling, this would not have happened if the overflow switch was installed. After several appointments the unit was fixed at the end of August, two months after full payment was made.
David Klimek said he would pay for damages due to the leak and in September we received a quote of $1,200 for repairs. We sent this to David Klimek, and he said that was about what he had expected. He stated that he did not want to put it through his insurance but did not have the money at this time but asked if we could give him until the end of October and we agreed. We never heard anything from Mr. Klimek in October nor in November. Right before and after Thanksgiving we tried to call and left messages which have never been returned.
We paid for the unit and the work at the completion of the job, as agreed, but now he is not being responsive to paying for his damages

Overnight the furnace in my attic started dripping through my ceiling. First thing this morning they're here fixing and evaluating. They have everything they need and are very professional. I couldn't be more thankful.

Yousef just because you have had a great experience with the company do not discredit someone who hasn't. I have been using Mr. Klimek for years and after one of his service calls, I lost my job.He was understanding and didn't ask for payment until I had it, so I am loyal to him because of that. Things are not always great with the work but because he stood beside me in hard times, I always allow them to fix the wrong. He is a fair man if you allow him to work with you. I can say I have my favorite employee because he always gets it right the first time, but I can also say I have never made a big fuss when things are not correct, because he does (as the owner) correct it. I suggest you give this company a chance, They're worth it.

I had a couple of good experiences with Mr. Klimek, but this last one has left me sick to my stomach. I had a total new unit put in, had to wait a month to have installed, which if I was getting quality work was fine. I noticed it was not cooling my house correctly, I have lived in my house for 20 years and know my home. they came out twice within 30 days with no real improvement. I called a third party in, 5 star rating with BBB. I found out the work was substandard and how do you put in a new unit with the new refrigerant and use the old lines and duct work and don't close the holes!!!! Who does that???? For the price I paid compared to other top of the line units, most of my cost was labor, which was not performed correctly. I had pictures taken of all the bad work done. he asked did I want new lines.... the manual call for a certain size lines so what's the problem??? I am really upset and giving them a chance to make it right, but I will have someone check again if need be. Maybe it is only women they do shoddy work for......

I have used Mr. Klimek all my life. I had a unit installed almost 7 years ago and it's running like a dream. I really push my units and because of Mr. K's solid advice I got a great deal. Do not listen to the other customer, I'm sure that fruit lady messed something up on her own and wanted something for free. Mr. K has always been honest and helpful. Even in the midst of ice storms he has fixed my parents heat or in the dead heat of summer, during those heat waves he will work extra hours to ensure you are satisfied. Trust me, you won't be sorry, he is an fair honest man.

Has incompetent workers who do shoddy work, but the owner would rather blame the customer. Lousy! If you want an honest/nice plumber....contact Colonial Plumbing! Anyone who praises them or their work must get paid for it. Why in the world would I mess anything up? Disregard that clueless idiot.
