They replaced our oil heating system with a new gas heating system (boiler, etc.) and did a good job. The work gets done efficiently in emergencies as well. Kyle and Eric are great guys to have working on whatever needs done; cheerful. I've had to talk to Dave (the owner) on a few occasions about issues that came up, but he is understanding and values his customers. I recommend them.

This review is in 2 parts.

1) I had an old steam boiler in my elderly Mom's house that bit the dust. For those of you that don't know, steam systems are both an art and science. Those that are educated in steam and who will take the task seriously are rare. I did extensive research on steam heating forums (yes, they exist!) and spoke with several experts before choosing. David Murphy and his crew (the ones I interacted/worked with; Eric, Kyle, and Fran) are top notch in an industry that has it's share of problems and complaints. David, in particular, is a Master in the art of steam heat systems. And with steam being the most complex type of heating system, you can be sure that boilers and furnaces of every type are almost routine in his capable hands. David made a site visit and did a system sizing before recommending a boiler size/system (a step that is woefully skipped by those less informed or thorough). After recommending a system (at a very competitive price; I got several other quotes), David and crew installed the system on schedule and without a hitch. (A note on price: with a system as complex and important as heating, DO NOT routinely go with the lowest price, or you will likely get what you pay for). Anyway, I've posted pics with this review of the ""before"" and ""after"". Delivery, Installation, and cleanup went smoothly and with no cost overruns or ""emergencies"", which is almost unheard of with such a large/complex job.

2) My elderly Mom's house had been neglected over the years. A small leak here, a large leak there, and some fixtures needed replacing. While they were here, I had them do the more ""routine"" plumbing work. Again, quality work at a competitive price. In particular, they were able to make some ""interim"" repairs at substantially lower cost for areas where I was not ready to do a complete replacement or renovation. Although these jobs were more routine, Yelp is peppered with complaints of plumbers doing substandard or inadequate work on similar jobs. Although everything went smoothly with these jobs as well, and I had no complaints, David came by after completion for a final check to verify that there were no loose ends.

They are a class operation, with true professionals. They are skilled and care about doing a quality job; traits that are becoming rarer and rarer in the trades. From Fran (who is sweet, responsive, and efficient) managing and coordinating things in the office, to David, Eric, Kyle (and others I didn't directly meet), working in the field, you won't do better if you have heating/cooling or general plumbing needs.
