David is responsive, prompt, hard-working, friendly, and knows his business. He replaced a toilet, unblocked the world's most clogged drain (a gift left behind by the previous owner of my house) which involved climbing onto my roof (!), and replaced 60-year-old outdoor faucet heads. I had such a positive experience that I've asked him to come back to replace my other toilet, to deal with a corroded and leaking outdoor pipe, and to do some more un-clogging of sinks.

I have had more downs than ups with most contractors, etc. and it is SO refreshing to find someone you can rely on to get the job done efficiently and cost-effectively. I will be calling David from now on if I have any other plumbing needs.

After hearing from one plumber that my busted pipe due to tree roots was too much for him to handle and that I was looking at paying someone in the neighborhood of $2500, I was pretty nervous. Called five different plumbers who were all booked at least a week out but kept giving me recommendations of other plumbers who were also overbooked. I got David Graves number from a friend and called him. He answered right away and said he was sure he could have someone out that day and would have them call me directly. I got a call within the hour from his son Todd. He was on another call but said he'd be over right after. It took him a little longer than he expected but he called to update me. Once he arrived, it took him all of three minutes to look at the hole in my front yard and tell me he would have it fixed and my water back on that day and it would cost me $250. And that is exactly what he did. He found the problem fixed it, recovered the hole and it was done in nothing flat. He was friendly and extremely knowledgable and no nonsense. He even called the next day to follow up and make sure everything was working ok. Not really what I expected from a plumber. A pleasant surprise. I highly recommend David Graves Plumbing.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews (shame on me) but I just had to make sure Austinites know how wonderful David Graves plumbing is! They helped us replace a old leaking water heater in our attic...it required some heavy lifting, definitely not an easy job! We had a big corporate plumber come out to look at it (after being over 24 hours late) and flat out refuse to do the job. David's crew not only saved us in our hour of need, they were timely, good-natured, "can do" kind of guys...such a relief after our previous bad experience. On top of everything, their quote was affordable and fair :)

Without a doubt MR. David you are awesome!! David came by a few days ago (after have called 2 other plumbers early in the day that by the way never showed up) I called David at about 4:30pm and showed up within the hour. He fixed our problem or problemsss within Maybe an hour or so. He was fast reliable and just all around PERFECT!! For any future problems we may encounter this is where we are going first and last!! We bought a home and needed several plumbing items. David was prompt to meet our availability to give a bid to install items we had purchased and to perform repairs. We accepted that bid and set a date. Circumstances forced me to reschedule twice, and David was accommodating. His two guys, Jimmy and Tony, arrived when expected and installed a new kitchen sink, disposal, reverse osmosis system and dishwasher. And repaired a shower mixer valve. And replaced a toilet. And made provisions in the garage for a refrigerator ice maker. Jimmy and Tony obviously knew their trade and worked steadily and cheerfully to complete all tasks. I recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.

First of all, they are a local small business. They put effort, are courteous and do the job in a timely manner and well done at a price point that is comparable to big chain companies.

Incredible plumber who I will use forever. Nice guy and great rates. Worked on a difficult issue in my house, did fantastic. Never using another plumber. I really cant reccomend him more.
