I cannot sing their praises enough. Maureen is responsive and helpful. Mark is genuine and explains every part of the process so that you understand what you're getting into. They've gone out of their way to help us in multiple situations. Most recently Shaun replaced shower fixtures for us. They're all friendly and icing on the cake - it's affordable.

I had a younger fellow come by to install a kitchen faucet, he was the best. great attitude didn't make us feel uncomfortable and was very professional!! I'm thrilled with how it turned out and can't thank them enough for helping me out. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!

The absolute worst and inexperienced plumber I have ever dealt with. The lady who answered the phone (owners wife) was unprofessional and ignorant.

Horrible horrible horrible. These guys did work for my neighbor. Instead of putting the enormous pile of dirt in his unused driveway they covered a third of my lawn and it is totally ruined for the summer. This is a nice quiet neighborhood and all day the men were screaming cuss words loudly and constantly - incredibly profane and completely inappropriate -eff this and eff that and b**** sh** everything. One worker repeatedly walked down the driveway to pee in the back yard/on the back of the house and was loudly talking to himself saying ""this job is bullsh** this job is f*****g bullsh**"" over and over. They left every day no later than 1pm despite pleasant temperatures and dry weather. I'm sure the job would have only been a few days if they had worked full business days instead of half days with days off when it clouds up. They dug the very deep hole on a Friday, so that it would sit all weekend with a plastic orange fence around it filling up with rain and not being worked on, and the giant pile of dirt sitting that much longer killing a third of my lawn. Their boss apparently showed up one day and asked them why they didn't just put the dirt in the driveway instead of causing such destruction (so I was told by another neighbor)...I hope my neighbor/their client didn't pay too much because he is now having to pay for my lawn to be repaired as well

These guys are loud, profane, slow at work, and apparently make horrible decisions on the job...I would stay away from any type of work with these guys until he restructures his crew in a serious way.

I have dealt with them twice. the first time was good service, Jamie was knowledgeable, worked quickly, and despite getting a drop of pipe dope on the carpet (that doesn't come out), he did excellent work for a fair price.

The second time, I called on a Saturday night and asked to have something set up for first thing in the morning. Come 8am I had nothing set up so I called back. I was told I would get a call soon. 9:45 I got a call from the on call plumber, explained that Sunday was a higher rate than normal working hours, and I told him that was fine. I explained that I wanted him to come out either way, and said I would prefer to pay with a credit card, but cash was fine if that was my only option. after a quick call to his boss and finding out that credit card wouldnt work unless I waited until Monday, I said I will pay cash, no problem. I was told I would need to have $400 up front and i would get a refund if it was less ( mind you, 2 weeks previous, NONE of this was an issue, I paid in cash, with a tip, upon completion of the job). I felt like I was being treated a little bit like a criminal, but whatever, I said OK and the plumber said he would be out in an hour. I went to the ATM and grabbed the $400 for him, and waited. 10 minutes before he was supposed to arrive I text him, reminding him of the address and that he could park in the driveway. I got the response that he had another (gas line) job come up and that he wasnt going to make it.... Mind you, I did not have a working toilet for the last 16 hours.

ATM fee down the drain (small, but still means something), still no plumber, and a broken toilet, I had to call around and find another solution. I will not use or recommend Davey at any of my properties again.

Had a terrible experience. I asked them to come out to a new house I bought to conduct a Sewage Camera test. Even though the technician was not able to conduct the test fully (he got the camera a into the drain but not far) they charged us $250 dollars. The original cost was $275 but it was real decent of them to knock off $25 dollars for the hard work they put in after we called to inquire about the high price for something that couldn't be done. The reasoning for the high nearly full charge was because they drove out to the house and actually put the camera in the drain. I would have gladly paid $50 for a call out fee even if they couldn't do it, however, charging the full rate is bad business ethics.

I hate to be one of the people that write a review and not even have experienced their service, but when a business calls wanting to get an estimate for a plumbing issue and gets nothing but a rude attitude from the person who answers the phone... that really makes your company look bad ... and its really your loss because had I received the kind of service any potential customer should have receive and you did good work... you would have had pelnty for years to come...

Had a great experience with Davey Plumbing. Scheduling via phone was easy. I was able to get an accurate estimate for the work done via email (sent pictures in advance). The Plumber was knowledgeable and efficient. Overall great experience. I've used several plumbers in the South Hills since I moved to the area, but I think my search is over. I know this is a company I'll be using again for future plumbing projects.
