The work turned our great. But the pricing was a nightmare and the correspondence has been terrible too. The original quote included re-piping the hot water heater, installing the washer faucet box, install the new copper piping in the wall to the washer box, re-run drain piping for a condensate line into the same drain as the washer & install a new frost proof hose bib. The contractor, Dave, said this work would cost $2,500. I told him I wasn't looking to spend that kind of money and we had to scale the work back. We eliminated the hose bib, moved the piping to surface mount instead of in-wall and left the condensate line as it was then, which was surface mounted and drained in to the Floor Drain.

Upon receipt of the invoice of work completed, contractor Dave charged me $2,500. I went back & forth with him in various emails disputing the charge due to him not completing the original specified amount of work.
Ultimately, he threatened to place a lien on my house if I didn't pay the full amount.

He said he had to do ""extra"" work to complete the scaled back scope of work and charged me for it, without ever contacting me about it.
When I asked him for those charges, & actual scope of ""extra"" work, once again, he just skipped over the question and said I owed him for services rendered.

He never answered any of my questions and just kept saying that I owed him the full $2,500 amount.

The work he and his crew do is real, quality work, but he will overcharge you and will not, for any reason provide you a detailed invoice. He billed me for work he never did and either lied about doing ""extra"" work or just did it and never contacted me about it. This is not satisfactory contractor behavior and I would recommend people stay away from this contractor. There are many more good ones out there.

Great job. We had a leaky shut off valve. And found out both of the main shutoffs were bad as well. They came out right away. And did a great job. At a reasonable price. On time courteous and professional.

Customer service is great and they do good work but I feel like I was taken advantage of on pricing. I was quoted $1400 to replace my water heater and the bill came to $1600 even which suggest these are arbitrary numbers.

I'm fairness, I didn't give any pushback because I was in a bind. I feel like a grand is a fair price based on previous experiences.

Called with a faucet valve failure during the installation of a new washer. Needless to say, I needed help immediately so as to ""accept"" the washer. Colin and his co-worker were at my house within about 2 hours. They diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and even took care of a nagging toilet flush problem while they were here. Better yet, when I ""googled"" plumbers in my area, Dave had a discount coupon for the service call. The price was reasonable. The plumbers were efficient, courteous and took care not to track the snow indoors. So happy to have found this company. And will definitely recommend them.

We found ourselves in an extremely frustrating situation of having a man water line leak. Having lived in the house for only 4 months the thought of a costly replacement had us stressed out to the max. After 20+ tear fueled calls, we finally got to Dave.

He was honest, and immediately felt trust worthy. He didnt try and push us into a main line repair when he didn't know if that's what we needed. Turns out, he was right, we had an illegal fitting that caused the leak on a pipe that carries a 25 year guarantee. He saved us THOUSANDS of dollars, but more importantly treated our situation with a sense of urgency and got our water back on as quickly as possible. The peace of mind he brought us was worth every penny.

This guy is worth his spit x 1000. Any plumbing issue i have in the future, i'm calling Dave.

Dave, Colin, and Connor were friendly and professional even during a very frustrating job. Not many companies are willing to take on a clogged drain in a dog kennel, but these guys worked for hours until they got our drains running clear! They never complained and even helped us with some other small problems around the building. They missed dinner with their families to make sure our business is able to run smoothly tomorrow. Their price was extremely reasonable. You can't go wrong with this company!

Took the positive reviews from others about Dave's Plumbing and gave it a shot after a pipe behind our washer began to slightly leak. Dave called back within 24 hours and we set up an appointment. (After sending Dave pictures of the pipe and he gave me an estimate over the phone.) Unfortunately, my pipe decided to go from a leak to a light spray after a few days and before the scheduled appointment. I texted Dave early that morning and he called shortly thereafter. He was able to squeeze us in between jobs. He (along with his assistant) tackled what ended up being a larger job than expected (thanks to the insane method our pipes were installed when the house was built in 1985). Dave did excellent work, made us feel like a priority in his busy day, and kept within his estimate. I would highly recommend him and will call him for our future plumbing needs.

Outstanding professionalism and stellar customer service!

Emergency call on Saturday with sewage ejection pump failures. Without hesitation the priority was to have us do a few checks and in short notice gave us the advice needed to get the pump working in manual mode. No money changed hands at this point. Wow - talk about integrity and good will. Saved our finished basement.

The phone call provided us with the likely work to be performed, the time to complete, the make and model of equipment to be used and a defined cost. Made the appointment and on Monday morning their team arrived on time. They kept us abreast of the work being done all along the way.

They further found code violations directly related to the repair work being done and offered us remediation, exact cost, scope of work and asked permission to complete these additional modifications.

Quality service, excellent parts and equipment and one of the cleanest, tidiest and squared-away jobs by a tradesman I've ever seen.

Once work was completed we received a complete tour and walkthrough of everything from top to bottom. We were given tips and education on the system, what to do in an emergency and how to properly care for it.

Finally given an extremely detailed work order, paperwork for all equipment that was installed, warranty start and stop dates and on and on.

Friendly, clean, professional, detail oriented and honest. You will NOT find a better highly trained plumbing outfit anywhere else.

I'm so impressed that I want to KNOW these guys on a personal level. Definitely people you want in your life.

Excellent and honest service. I found Dave on google search and called because of his awesome reviews. They are all true!! Dave came and was open, honest and I could tell a ""do it right the first time"" kind of guy. We replaced two toilets which he told me I didn't need to but I wanted the taller toilets and he helped me pick the best ones. He fixed my other ones and they no longer run. His guys were timely, clean and answered all my questions. It was a great fast experience!!! I will use him for all my plumbing needs and recommend him to my friends. Thanks Dave's Plumbing!
