Dave the Plumber launched in April of 2017 by David Pearce and his spouse of 18 years, Josee Allard. Dave began his plumbing journey in 2000 from Cornell University. Following a 5-year apprenticeship under seasoned plumbers, a variety of classes, and the Washington State Exam, he earned the title of Journeyman Plumber! Dave values his profession and always seeks to improve his business by investing in the best specialty equipment. In 2019, they upgraded to the most spacious van Dodge offers to carry as much as they can to be ready for any job.
Dave's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning is owned and operated by David Pearce. Dave's journey in plumbing began in 2000 and achieved a qualified journeyman plumber in Washington state. Together with his wife, Josee, founded and later sold a thriving plumbing company in that state before moving back to New York in 2011. Before founding this company, he was employed as a technician at Roto-Rooter. Dave is excited to engage with his own customers once again. Acting ethically is very important to him, and he strives to go beyond his clients' needs with the standard of work he provides.

Robert V.Dave the plumber gave me a quote of$250 to do a minor repair on my water tank. I was not on site and he charged me $350. When I called him to question the charges ,he went on an expletive filled rant without answering my
questions about the bill. Recently I called him again to find out why the bill was $100 dollars more-he refused to give me an answer. I will never hire this guy again. Giving him 1 star is being generous. If I had been on site, I should have got a notarized copy of the estimate.

Alfonzo S.Doesn't do estimates, even when you're willing to pay for the time to come out and look at the damage. Essentially tells me ""I have everything I need to fix your problem. I don't actually need to know what the problem is."" He apparently has enough work as it is and DGAF about my plumbing issues.
I guess if it's something trivial like a faucet leak and you're desperate, he might be capable and you'd only be out a small sum of money if he screws up. I wouldn't use him for any serious plumbing work, though.
When a plumber doesn't inquire about the issue at hand and evades trying to give any kind of cost estimate, it should be take as the red flags that they are.
