Dave the Plumber Repair and Drain Cleaning opened in April of 2017 by the owner, David Pearce and his partner of 18 years. Dave began his plumbing journey in 2000 from Cornell University. After completing a five-year apprenticeship under skilled plumbers, numerous classes, and the state certification exam, he achieved the title of certified Journeyman Plumber! Dave is proud of his trade and always seeks to upgrade his business by utilizing the top tools. In 2019, they upgraded to the biggest van Dodge produces to carry as much as they need to be ready for the work ahead.
Dave the Plumber is managed by Dave. Dave started in plumbing in 2000 and achieved a licensed journeyman plumber in Washington state. Together with his wife, Josee, established and eventually sold a prosperous plumbing company in Washington before moving back to the state of New York in 2011. Before launching this company, Dave worked as a plumbing technician at Roto Rooter. Dave is thrilled to work directly with his customers once again. Acting ethically is crucial to David, and he works hard to go beyond his clients' demands with the quality of service he delivers.

Robert V.Dave the plumber gave me a quote of$250 to do a minor repair on my water tank. I was not on site and he charged me $350. When I called him to question the charges ,he went on an expletive filled rant without answering my
questions about the bill. Recently I called him again to find out why the bill was $100 dollars more-he refused to give me an answer. I will never hire this guy again. Giving him 1 star is being generous. If I had been on site, I should have got a notarized copy of the estimate.

Alfonzo S.Doesn't do estimates, even when you're willing to pay for the time to come out and look at the damage. Essentially tells me ""I have everything I need to fix your problem. I don't actually need to know what the problem is."" He apparently has enough work as it is and DGAF about my plumbing issues.
I guess if it's something trivial like a faucet leak and you're desperate, he might be capable and you'd only be out a small sum of money if he screws up. I wouldn't use him for any serious plumbing work, though.
When a plumber doesn't inquire about the issue at hand and evades trying to give any kind of cost estimate, it should be take as the red flags that they are.
