Dave's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning opened in April of 2017 by Dave and his wife of 18 wonderful years. Dave began his plumbing journey in 2000 from Cornell University with a degree in Agriculture. Following a 5-year apprenticeship under seasoned plumbers, a variety of classes, and the WA State Exam, he earned the title of licensed Journeyman Plumber! Dave takes immense pride in his craft and always seeks to improve his business by investing in the best tools. In the year 2019, they moved into the largest van Dodge manufactures to carry as much as they need to be well-equipped for the tasks at hand.
Dave the Plumber is owned and operated by Dave. Dave started in plumbing in the year 2000 and became a licensed journeyman plumber in the state of Washington. Together with his wife, Josee, founded and eventually sold a thriving plumbing company in that state before relocating to New York in 2011. Before launching this company, he was employed as a service technician at Roto Rooter. Dave is excited to work directly with his clients once again. Maintaining integrity is very important to Dave, and he works hard to go beyond his customers' needs with the excellence of work he delivers.

Robert V.Dave the plumber gave me a quote of$250 to do a minor repair on my water tank. I was not on site and he charged me $350. When I called him to question the charges ,he went on an expletive filled rant without answering my
questions about the bill. Recently I called him again to find out why the bill was $100 dollars more-he refused to give me an answer. I will never hire this guy again. Giving him 1 star is being generous. If I had been on site, I should have got a notarized copy of the estimate.

Alfonzo S.Doesn't do estimates, even when you're willing to pay for the time to come out and look at the damage. Essentially tells me ""I have everything I need to fix your problem. I don't actually need to know what the problem is."" He apparently has enough work as it is and DGAF about my plumbing issues.
I guess if it's something trivial like a faucet leak and you're desperate, he might be capable and you'd only be out a small sum of money if he screws up. I wouldn't use him for any serious plumbing work, though.
When a plumber doesn't inquire about the issue at hand and evades trying to give any kind of cost estimate, it should be take as the red flags that they are.
