If I could give zero stars I would. Dave and Sons installed a new water in my home in March 2022. July 2022, the neighbor's garage began to leak because of my water heater. When the neighbor's leak started, the HOA sent a plumber to look at the plumbing of the nearby homes. He looked at the water heater and immediately said it's leaking and the water was set way too high at installation, over 160 degrees when the water temperature is not supposed to go over 120 degrees. This put my young son and I at risk of being scaled. He advised me to call Dave and Sons back to make them aware of the damage to the other garage and it being due to the water heater leaking. I called Dave and Sons at least 5 times, emailed at least 5 times and sent a certified letter. No response to any attempt to make contact. Not even a ""No we aren't coming back because..."" Totally unprofessional, dismissive and clearly improperly trained workers. Now I am responsible for the costs of the neighbor's repairs and still have an unrepaired water heater. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I see that they only reply to the few positive reviews so I doubt they will reply, just like my other attempts to reach them. They have been reported to the BBB as well. ZERO STARS!

On June 27 I requested that my garbage disposal be repaired through AHS. As result this company was assigned and they sent a repair person out to look at my appliance. Upon the techs arrival he immediately looked under the sink and pulled out what I later identified as a garbage disposal tool and turned the bottom of my disposal and it began to work. Not even 5 minutes later he had me sign a form to indicate the disposal was working and left. Upon him leaving later that week it stopped working again and more frequently stopped working to the point where I had to purchase a tool myself in order to make it work on a temporary basis. However, my garage disposal steal leaked and as result which kept making a bigger mess and problem under my sink while still not resolving my issue with the appliance. As result, this week I was finally able to submit a new claim through home shield who sent another company out who found the disposal was in disrepair and needed to be replaced. The new tech stated their was a whole at the bottom of disposal and a clear leak that had existed well before the June visit. I was forced to pay another fee to home shield because the tech who arrived was either uninformed or possibly just to lazy to check the appliance for whatever reason. I regret that I did not follow up on this issue in a more timely manner and regret mistaking their speed for resolving a issue. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company for fear the same will happen to them that happened to me. If I could give less than a 1 I would just because of the level effort I had to put out as well as the money spent and time loss from work due to this company's poor work practices.

Plumber called by Home warranty company. 1st company said 48 hours. Dave & sons was same day, toilet was leaking and so was the shut off valve. Very professional, prompt and courteous. Highly recommended, excellent service, attitude and accommodating!

I called and discussed the leaking faucet. I sent the name of the brand of the faucet but I never heard from them. They probably won't do small jobs. They should have at least the courtesy to inform me that they won't be able to do it.

A technician came out and on March 5, to check the pipes for leaks. I was told my faucet needed a valve and the bathroom needed a part. In order to do the work my condo wanted a certificate of liability. Did not hear from the contractor, so I called him and he said he does not like working with condos and he would check to see if his insurance is covered. Never heard from him again as of April 5, 2018. Called American Home Shield several times and they will now get me another contractor.

These guys are awesome!! I called on a Friday morning before the 4th of July weekend and they squeezed me in to fix my toilet. Marcus was quick, professional and on time! Dave gave me a window of time between 12 and 4PM. By 12:15, I received a courtesy call that Marcus would be arriving by 1 and he did as promised. I'd been getting water in my basement since September. Another company came out and told us we needed a new water collection system. We paid thousands for the new system, but kept getting water in our basement. It was continuous, it happened three times between September and May. The most recent time, we called out AHS to try to figure out the problem. They dispatched Dave & Sons Plumbing, who came out promptly the next day, a Monday. It turns out we had freeze cracks in two bib hoses. The pipes would only leak when we'd mess around with the outside spigot. They agreed to complete the repairs two days later. Their window for arrival was between 8 am and 12 pm. They arrived a little after 9 am and had completed the repairs before 10 am. I am more than satisfied!
