Dave's Plumbing, owned by Dave Etwaru, has ripped my parents off in the worst imaginable way. My father is now in PT following experimental chemo to treat multiple myeloma. He needs a handicap accessible shower stall, and they hired Dave Etwaru to do the job. He has utterly destroyed their bathroom, and when asked to come back and look at the issues, he came over and said there was nothing he could do about the tub not being level, being out of square, and that the enormous crack in the surround (that he provided, cracked, and then epoxied on the facing side) wasn't his problem, it was the manufacturer's problem. The gaps that let water seep into the walls and floors? Just how it had to be. The walls around it being destroyed? Not his problem. All is good in his estimation, despite being filthy, unfinished, and downright dangerous for someone who needs a safe, easily cleaned, MOLD FREE environment when he comes home. I have contacted the BBB, but this man should never work in plumbing again, let alone be listed as a master plumber in Schenectady.

We are out of cash and literally have to redo the entire bathroom. There is more in damage now than the entire remodel should have cost.
