I've used these folks for 20 plus years and have always found them to be prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. My house has the usual and unusual array of plumbing issues and the problems we've had were sometimes simple and occasionally complex. Things were always explained thoroughly and the work done promptly and well! My neighbor referred me to them and told me she'd used a variety of companies over the years and found these folks to be reliable and consistent! I agree with her wholeheartedly! They send what is supposedly a licensed union plumber who should know what he's doing. He installs a new hot water heater and vents it only to the chimney, not to the liner in the chimney. That's mistake #1. Plus the flue slope is incorrect and can lead to gases not exiting properly (mistake #2). I'll throw both these into Mistake #3: He told me he cannot see well. (Thanks for sendinig over a plumber with vision issues, that instills confidence!). And, rather than putting his tools down on the painted basement floor, he drops them, which left a number of scratch marks on the floor. Will never call them again. Their hold music should be ""Send in the Clowns"".

So I just had a plumber over to the house to look at the garbage disposal. He looked at it for 5 mins and told me it was bad and I had to replace it. He then tried to upcharge me by trying to sell me one for $150 or a better one for $300. Since I told him they were overpriced and that I was going to buy one myself, he tried to charge me $136 for him coming to my house for 5 mins. Couldn't believe it. He stated that was there hourly fee and they had to charge me for 1 hour. Obviously I didn't pay it. First they try to overcharge me significantly for the garbage disposal and then they want to charge me for an hour of work at $136 an hour!! I would go elsewhere with your plumbing needs. Perhaps someone who is more trustworthy.
