Charged me $400 to fix a stiff bathroom faucet. He was at my house for 1.25 hours and said it was the best he could because it was a long drive from East Haven to Guilford. He also put parts & labor on the invoice and there were no parts used he cleaned the fitting. He said he would refund me $100.00 of the absurd price and never did.

He came within an hour of our call and replaced the mixing valve in the shower. He cleaned up the area after and was very personable.

I strongly advise you to stay away from Dave Miller the Plumber from the New Haven CT area.


He will charge you double to triple what the normal charges are and if that's not bad enough he will use the cheapest parts possible and then when the work fails again which it will, he will not stand by his work.


Do yourself a favor and use someone else.
