I was having a sewer backup in my basement and they came on Monday and advised that my sewer trap was buried (which they do not handle, and every other sewer company I've spoken to since will provide that service), they also did not see that I had a sewer access valve in my basement, and then decided on their own to snake my basement toilet for $220+ without my consent (which most plumbers will do for $110). Not to mention that 2 days later my sewer is backed up again and I have an overflow again. Sewer company that is here now has sent a camera down my sewer line, located the issue in my pipe that is 50 feet outside my house and is snaking my sewer line which is the only thing that will resolve this issue.

Thanks for doing work I never authorized and taking my money for an issue that you did not resolve!

My apartment sinks were backed up, and standing water! No one was available until next week! Gene Duffy Plumbing was kind enough to call me with this referral. ""Jessie"" in dispatch got 'Robert"" to me in an hour! He was fast, professional, and good. Very reasonable cost to snake and clear.

I called this company on Sunday 4/19/20 evening and got Dave on the phone. Not very often are you able to speak directly with the owner especially on a Sunday night. He answered all my questions about septic tanks and cesspools and I had lots of them. He had Robert and Dan at my house the next morning to service my septic tank and cesspool. The 2 technicians were very neat and polite. The company's vehicles we very clean and with their name on them which help put me at ease knowing they are who there and established. They did a great job and will be using only them in the future and will recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks again Dave and to your staff.

I called a popular company and the employee came and seemed baffled as to what the problem was. He spent two hours at my home and told me that I was going to need a service that was over $1,000. I felt he was not being honest with me so I declined and called David Lange Sewer Service. David Lange came, diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes. It took him an addition 15 minutes to clear the problem and it only cost me $185.

Unfortunately, my 73 year old mother called these guys, because her kitchen sink was stopped up. Mike O. ""Roto rooted"" the kitchen sink at a cost of $300. After he left, my mother found that whenever she used the kitchen sink or dishwasher, the waste water would backup into her bathtub and not go down. Mike came back a week later and tried to snake the bathtub. He was unable to fix it and told her, she ""needed to replace a section of galvanized pipe to PVC"". That cost another $200 for not fixing anything. She finally called me, I came over and snaked the drain from the tub to the main line. All was fixed and running smoothly. There is no galvanized pipe between her tub and the main line. I don't know what he was looking at. He's supposed to be the plumber, not me.

P.S. Whenever you call any of these companies after hours, they all answer ""Service."" They all take each other's calls after hours, so you never really know what company you're getting. I have printed bills from Dave Lange Sewer Service, but be careful with every company you call. In the future, if you call a company and they don't give you their company name, don't do business with them.

I used Dave Lange Sewer Service because I had my cesspool back up into my basement. They got someone over to my house the same day that I called. They took care of the problem very neatly and professionally. I'd definitely recommend using them for any cesspool problems!
