BEWARE !
I hired a plumber to come out and fix a jammed garbage disposal last year and had a very bad experience with David Bischof, Inc. I was charged 487.00 in services I never received. I am still fighting to get refunded.
I called a company that I found online but did not research the company further. I was having problems with a jammed garbage disposal. The plumber David Bischof arrived on the scene and refused to do anything without me signing a contract. He just stood in front of the sink and refused to do anything without me agreeing to pay him money for the service call (was supposed to be free, right?) and give over my personal information. I felt pressured and very uncomfortable. I reluctantly agreed, he quickly determined that the whole unit needs replacement. I signed an estimate (of which I got no copy). The plumber never fixed anything. In fact, I had to hire another company to come in and replace my garbage disposal. David Bischof, on the other hand, just waited a few weeks, then, long enough but sure enough, he charged my visa card the full amount of $487 for a new garbage disposal plus installment. I found out about it only months later. I called him and requested a refund for the work not performed. He refused to pay back any amount, even though I was willing to pay for his visit. He did not deny the fact that the work was not done, I also provided him with photos and the receipt from the other contractor as he requested. He refused to pay any amount and just responded negatively about the other contractor's job. I now may need to go to small claims court to get my money back.
This was a horrible experience. Avoid this guy at ALL costs ! It is guys like him who give a bad name to contractors. Please, be extremely careful when you hire someone to work for you, research the company, and check your credit card statements.

We had a tiny pinhole leak in an exterior copper pipe. Bischof told my wife what needed to be fixed, but did not offer the price. She needed it done, and told him to proceed. He was here less than two hours, and presented her with a bill for $785!!!
There was no breakdown of parts or labor on the bill. When I called him for an explanation, he said that was just the overhead of cost for running a plumbing company! Next time I will hire someone with a smaller overhead! His monthly overhead certainly isn't my problem.

I would not recommend his services to anyone. We had a plumbing back-up and he came out-$89 service fee just to take a look. He did get the water to go down, but apparently only pushed the clog further. Less than 4 hours later, after taking a quick shower, none of the water was going down. We called and asked him to come back and fix the issue since it had not been resolved. He said he would charge us all over again to come back out! Let me get this straight... you come, don't fix the problem, leave, and then want to charge the client all over again to fix the job you didn't complete to begin with?!!! Give me a break. Talk about poor professionalism and ethics. Honestly- not even worthy of one star.

Do NOT use this man. He charged me over $4300 for a job I come to find out is usually $500 tops. When I spoke with him and told him the pipe he replaced only cost $30 at Lowe's, his response was, ""That doesn't matter."" When I reminded him he was done in less than two hours and asked what I was paying for he said, ""My expertise.""
That's over $2000 an hour of ""expertise."" Do brain surgeons even make that much?!!

I did get ripped off by Dave Bischof Plumbing Services. I was first quoted a price of $387.50 for the master bath and $125 for the 2nd bathroom for a total of $512.50. After he secured my credit card information he began working and then told me it would now cost $1,387.50. Mr. Bischof refused to give me an estimate of time or cost of parts. Because he withheld this information I could not determine if this was reasonable or not and now that he had everything pulled apart and he had my credit card information I didn't have much choice except to proceed with the repairs. It took him 4 hours to complete the job and one of those hours was spent leaving our house to go buy the parts which cost no more than $100. Mr. Bischof made more that $300/hour from this job. Don't ever let this guy in your house. P.S. Afterwards I did attempt to resolve this matter with Mr. Bischoff but instead he rambled on about the law and some sort of accounting practices that allowed him to charge the price he did.

This guy totally ripped of my tenant who is from another country. He charged 350 dollars to snake a root clogged line and did not do a very good job of it. The roots grew back in 2 months, then charged 700 dollars to tell my tenant where the root problem was. I called him up and he was very defensive about his rates. I asked him how long he was at my house and he said, "" we don't keep track of time."" I asked if he marked the spot or could he give me a video tape showing at what point the line is clogged and his response was, "" I told your tenant."" So for 700 dollars I got nothing.
This guy is a RIP OFF!

$600 to fix gas line on heater. Had to return twice to fix. I finally called the gas company who fixed it for free and said it had been done wrong. Then he said the shower had a leak and a sink needed new parts. $1700 later he did about $50 worth of work. I was so upset. I felt like I had been cheated, that I didn't really need so much work done.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! He did a great job on an overpriced broken pipe repair, so i trusted him when he said that $1700 was a fair price for the cleanup. He pressured me into agreeing for him to start the next day saying that it was a health hazard, that the insurance was 99% likely to pay for it, that if i didn't use him the other guys weren't as good and would charge just as much. Then the insurance adjuster came out, and said his guys would have done it for under $500. i was appalled and then researched it. for the cleanup job he did, which involved simply removing the carpet in my 1 foot by 8 foot closet, taking out the baseboards for half the closet and washing the bottom foot of the walls in the closet, then leaving a carpet dryer unattended with no note as to when to turn it off and on, and no call for 5 days to come pick it up. He told the insurance guy it could have been turned off after 4 days and that he was just too busy to pick it up. he then agreed to get it at 5pm so i cancelled my appointments for the evening. i called at 515 and he argued that he was ""busy"" and ""too dirty to show up"" and could be there at 7pm. He is overpriced and will fleece you without the blink of an eye. DON""T HIRE THIS MAN!!!!!!!!!

My tenant calles this guy out to fix a clogged. he said it was tree roots and could not unclog it out. I ask them how much you got the job would cost. he could not answer me. he said 500 to 10000 there's no telling. I called my usual guy and he uncloged it for 150.., he's either doesn't know what he's doing or he's trying to rip someone off. I can't believe the recommendation he had, when my other guys took 15 minutes unclog a pipe.beware I should have
