Joseph from Dave and Joe's provided the best plumbing service I've ever had and I swear he performed a plumbing miracle. Our water heater worked fine but had been making an awful sound that was getting worse. I requested service and Joe called right away. I didn't realize my husband had already scheduled someone else so I let Joe know I would need to cancel. He asked me to send photos of the water heater, just in case, so I did and, ya'll, here's the miracle part - he fixed our water heater OVER THE PHONE. He didn't even want to charge us anything since he didn't actually come to the house. He said he does everything in his power to take care of all his customers and to offer his knowledge for those in need. I can confirm that's the absolute truth.

Who fixes plumbing issues OVER THE PHONE then doesn't charge anything? We are beyond grateful and will contact Joe for any issues we have from now on. I still can't believe it - you should, though! Joe, thank you SO much!

I called my guy Joseph for a clogged bathtub drain and he was amazing. He gave me a good rate and showed up within a couple hours. He knew exactly what he was doing and finished everything quickly. I highly recommend him for unclogging your drains!

Had a pipe burst over my waterheater on Monday. I reached out on yelp to hopefully find help. I had a phone call with in minutes. The owner himself came out within an hour. So professional. Fast and pretty damn good price. Got the job done within an hour. Having dealing with a lot of pricy past jobs I was pretty satisfied and think I found my go to if I ever have another issue in the future.

Sent out the request for a plumber few hours ago, messaged a few places but Dave and Joe's were able to come out same day and took care of the problem right away! Now my shower is unclogged and running good now I'm able to take a shower longer than 5min and h the work he did is guaranteed for a year so he's able to come back out if the same problem occurs! Definitely Saving his card for future plumbing needs!

I am a county sheriff this guy came to my residence unlicensed to change a faucet on messed up my faucet I have the guy on camera in everything I tried calling him in telling him what he did he was blocking me in I have plates in I gonna do what have to do in he took my money in a year warranty in he doesn't honor that he gives cards in every thing do not mess with this guy he want be bisness for long

STAY AWAY. Don't make the same mistake I made - these guys (or guy?) are BAD and truly have 0 idea what's going on - not only with plumbing in general but seriously I'm not even sure how this company calls itself a business because they have no awareness of time or even what day of the week it is, no regard for their client's time, and worse, not even the decency to try and pretend that the clients' time matters. They do sloppy work, schedule appts that they no show for without even an apologetic text or call, and when they do show up they do so at least 2hrs late - without a call, text , or even an apology after the fact. Beware - they always seem to have great availability (will usually respond to a requst indicating they can come next day, but in reality they always show up TWO DAYS after the original appt and at least two hours late to the rescheduled appt). I'm also 99% sure they're not licensed plumbers as advertised, or at least I wasn't able to find a license under the company name or owner's name anywhere in public records and they ignored my request when i asked that they provide proof.

if you want to know the detailed and infuriating experience I've had with them, read the long winded story below. if you don't, just take my word for it and keep looking if what you need done is more than unclogging a toilet or something somewhat near the DIY job realm.

Detailed narrative -------

At the end of 2023, I hired Dave and Joes to install an outdoor spigot, requiring a new pipe through the basement ceiling. Though not the cheapest, their decent reviews and quicker availability led me to choose them. The owner, Joseph, provided the quote promptly, but the problems began when trying to schedule the actual work.

After confirming I wanted to proceed and asked for availability, I didn't hear back until I followed up three days later(on a Monday). Joseph offered Wednesday or Thursday that week, and I confirmed any would work - but by Tuesday afternoon, there was no confirmation. After another follow up from me and some ridiculous back-and-forth where he kept saying ""wed or Thurs"" (clearly unaware Wednesday was the next day) we settled on Thursday morning between 10-12. However, by 2 p.m. Thursday, no one had arrived, and there was no call or text. After I reached out, Joseph said he overslept (no apology, just an explanation) and rescheduled for Friday.

They showed up Friday, completed part of the job, and said theyd need to finish the next day, planned ETA between 9-10 a.m. Again, without a call, text, or apology, they arrived at 1 p.m., THREE HOURS after the scheduled time. Once here, they said they needed another day, and we agreed on noon Sunday. However, once again, they arrived almost two hours late without any notice, and finished the job that afternoon. Despite the no-shows and lack of communication, I was glad they were finally done, so I paid without a complaint, and that was that.

Fast forward to August, 8 months after the spigot installation -- a major leak started coming through my drywall ceiling where the pipe was installed. The spigot had barely been used, and the pipes were properly maintained during winter, so I contacted Joseph immediately, sharing pictures and videos. Despite the urgency, Joseph downplayed the issue, suggesting it wasn't serious and that waiting 3-4 days for him to swing by was fine. After insisting, he agreed to come the next day but... SURPRISE! he never showed up, with no notice. So again, I followed up (again, no apology either!) And We rescheduled for Saturday, but again, he didn't show or call. When I reached out, he casually suggested Sunday at 11 a.m. He arrived late AGAIN (1.5hr late) inspected the leak, and claimed it was just a seal issue, assuring me it was an easy fix and that I needed to let it dry and to call if anything went wrong. Which,the leak continued. Joseph, now out of town, said he worked alone and couldn't send anyone else, so I had to wait another 5 days for him to come back - and We set a new date for Tuesday... But again, no show or call. The same happened Wednesday morning (new agreed time) until he finally arrived in the afternoon, ""fixed it"" again, and assured me it was resolved. But it wasn't.

When the leak persisted, Joseph promised to come the next day but once again didn't show or respond. After two days of silence, he finally texted, telling me to hire someone else and that he'd cover the cost. Unsurprisingly, he hasn't responded since. LOL. OBVIOUSLY wont respond and much less will he pay. Hasnt responded since, not even to my text calling him out on the scam (lol).

this guy is truly as unprofessional as it gets, as clueless as they come, and has no regard for others, his reputation, or even his business frankly, as the issues started even before I'd paid for the services.

We used Dave and Joe's Plumbing, and I can't praise them enough. Joseph was so honest, knowable, and kind. When every other plumber told us that we had to get a new water heater he came out to do a free consultation and told us that we just had to clean it out. He came out on a date that worked for us, and we even used him for some other plumbing needs. Joseph is going to be our new go to plumber for all our needs, and I would recommend him and his company to everyone. You won't be disappointed, stop scrolling and call now.

Wouldn't go back. Rushed the job for a toilet ring and literally made it worse. Immediately I could tell they didn't want to be there. It's ok. Thank you for doing but I will go elsewhere.
