Company Overview
We are afour-generation plumbing company, one of theearliest in Sumter County, focusing on all your plumbing and gas requirements, fromminor faucet repairs, water heater repairs, and installation of both standard tank-type and tankless heaters, to sewer services and replacements, toilet repairs and replacements, to remodeling your home or plumbing your new residence.
Our history traces back to my great-grandfather, TE Guess, who started Guess Plumbing in the 1940s. My grandfather, Sidney M. Daughrity, then operated as New Idea Plumbing, which was renamed Daughrity Plumbing in the late 1940s. My father, Sid M. Daughrity Jr., affectionately called Rooster, continued the family tradition in the mid-1970s, rebranding to Daughrity Plumbing, and in the late 1980s, we officially became Daughrity & Sons. I might not recall the precise startup date, but I have a rough estimate of when we started.
