I have been using Dauenhauer for 2 years, because they did the original plumbing in my house that is 3 yrs old. I was having diffficulty with the sump pump for the past year. Replacing pump after pump. I reached out to another plumbing company for a second opinion. Found out I need re-route the drainage pipe outside. The original drainage was going uphill. The pump was over working pushing the water uphill eventually giving out. The water was not draining properly causing it to freeze after the sump pump burned out.The pump was hot and the sump pump water was boiling almost causing a fire. The pump was 10 days old. I would not recommend their services.

Incredible staff and company. They came out for a leak in my main water line. Gave me a very fair estimate. So fair I called off the other plumbers I was going to get a quote from.
They showed up the next day ready to work. Josh was so polite and took pride in his work. If I ever need a plumber again I will be calling them with no hesitation.
All the work was completed and very well. I can not compliment them enough.

We had a problem with the shower faucets leaking. The first plumbing company said they would have to cut a big hole in the wall behind the shower to fix it. So we called Dauenhauer for a second opinion. They came out promptly and, after driving from Winchester back to Lexington for a part, quickly fixed the issue. They are my new go to plumbers!

This is now my go to plumbing company. Showed up as promised oon time even with my crazy schedule they made it work. Kyle K. the professional plumber that came to my new home to fix 2 toilets was nothing but the best. He will be my go to guy by request for future needs when I call Dauenhauer Plumbing. He was nothing but perfect in taking care of me as the customer. The charges are more than fair for the quality service I received from him. Highly recommended company.

My elderly parents have a 3-year old gas water heater that ceased working on a Saturday. We called and got an appointment the next day - Sunday - and were told there was no extra charge for a service call on the weekend (yeah!). They arrived on time, looking presentable with a positive, respectful attitude. They quickly found the problem and corrected the problem for a nominal fee. A disreputable company could have invented a lot of things to check or replace driving up the charges but not this company. This is the third time my family has used them and third time we were very pleased. I recommend them highly.

Customer service is not a lost practice with Dauenhauer Plumbing! We had called and scheduled an appointment for today from between
1:00 and 6:00 P.M. today. The plumber (Jacob W.) called and wanted to know if it would be okay if he arrived earlier. Absolutely! He rectified the problem and replaced a trap that I had not anticipated at what I consider a very reasonable price. I have learned a new way to spell relief : D-A-U-E-N-H-A-U-E-R P-L-U-M-B-I-N-G.
