Brooke reached out and corrected the issues. I would recommend them based on the work that they did and that they were responsive when they saw that there was a problem. One other comment that I would make it that they are available. If you need a certain date or time they try to accommodate.

At the end, customer service was great even though there were hiccups on the way. Would definitely recommend based on their follow-up and customer service.

These people charged an arm and a leg to replace a water heater. They demanded full payment the same day. They had to make three trips. Shop around and find another plumber!

So far so good. Placed a call at 7:00 a.m. (when they open on Saturdays) and a technician got back to me at 9:00 a.m.; even though, I was set for a 10 p.m. to 12 p.m. time slot.

The technician's name is Travis. Let's see how he goes up diagnosing this garbage disposal issue. From past experience, my first one, with this house, has lasted 8 years 2009-2017. This last one they installed worked from 2017 to now (review is also below this for this experience).

Amazing guy. That is all I have to say, AMAZING GUY. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

Edit:

CON

This business harms itself with aggressive calls, emails, and texts wanting feedback. Should that not be up to the customer to give at their own pace? NO! I am not answering my phone, email, or texts. If I had a good or bad experience, you will see about it (like the above review).

I normally don't take advantage of discounted system checks, however, I did take advantage of Dauenhauer's $45 system check in early April. Technician left saying system ran fine. However, the first time I turned the a/c on it failed to work and now I am looking at a major repair. I contacted Dauenhauer about the fact that I had their advertised system check and tune-up and was surprised that after doing that, the first time I turned the a/c on the system did not work. They responded that they would come to look at the problem but would charge me full fees to do so. They don't back up their work. Very coincidental! Buyer beware of who looks at your systems! Poor customer service!

Very Expensive $$$
Dauenhauer Plumbing cost Much More than their competitors in the area. They charged me $600 for a toilet installation! After this work was completed, I got a quote from another plumber and their installation cost was $180. Dauenhauer did include what appeared to be about a $130 toilet, so their total install price was $470 compared to $180, a $290 difference.
It seems that the plumbers (salesmen) work on commission and found several items that needed fixing. Originally, they came out due to a leak in my shower, that leaked through the ceiling. By the time they were done with installing a new water valve, bath spout, shower control gasket it was $1,504.50, including the VIP discount!
When they were done, they said I have a blockage in my line, and they could send someone out tomorrow to unblock it for $450! The plumbers did not have the equipment with them to do this themselves. I got a quote from another company, and they said it would only be $235 to clear a line. FYI, I replaced the bathtub overflow plate which had become corroded and gunky, and my flow problem went away. $8.97 on Amazon.
While I had other concerns about them, these were the top ones. I would not use them again; their prices are very high, and they are focused more on increasing their bill than meeting the needs of the customer. While their work was fine, there are many other customer focused plumbing companies out there that are better.

Leaking main sewer line in my home. Almost a month of their dropping the ball, showing up late (""pulled into the office for a report "", ""we got real backed up"" etc.) and finally showing up for what was supposed to be a trenching estimate with their trencher, with their camera crew instead, which they said they had already done two weeks previous and then their dispatcher arguing with me on the phone about it.

I don't know what else to say, but $359 to unclog a drain is WAYYY TOO MUCH especially when the guy showed up 10 minutes later than the 8-10am window, which is whatever he's got other jobs probably so I don't mind that. It's the amount for me and to top it off he was only there for 15 minutes at most. I'm sorry, but call another company like I will from now on or I'll just do it myself. $359 for 15 minutes of work is asinine! I thought since they worked on our home when it was a new construction they would give a break, but sadly, no. I should have said no thanks and tried someone else so it's my fault. But it stinks when they're right there and you can't haggle with them so they have you by the balls and you have to pay it if you want it fixed. Last time I give my money out like that.

Shower valve replacement

Buyer beware ! They did not give me an estimate showed up and then I had to sign that I agreed with the cost. The final cost for 2 hours of work was $803. I provided the valve part. Would not recommend them at all.

They left a hole in the bedroom wall they needed to cut for access unfinished. When I called they said they do not do drywall or even install an axis panel. They destroyed the drywall piece taken from the wall so it could not be used to repair the wall. I had to pay to have the hole repaired

I had a shower handle that was damaged beyond repair so had them come out. After watching me cut the drywall, use all of my tools (even a screwdriver) he proceeded to do 15 minutes of soldering a valve that I had already bought from a shower kit. He then pronounced it done. Stuff literally everywhere. No handle, nothing. Then charged me ....$650. No kidding. Told him no way and his boss even told him he was nuts. Only...$375 (reasonable for a Sunday if he had done a professional job). After having him try his best to do a professional job (I have no idea where the hardware that came with the new kit is- he clearly used the old screws that don't quite fit) I paid him and had him leave. Then I took it all apart and installed a support behind the valve, put it together and cleaned it up. Will never use them again.
