Some plumbing companies should not be in business at all. Dattile & Sons is at the top of the list. Anyone who uses them should have the BBB on speed dial. TOTAL RIP OFF !! * $250 to replace a shut off valve for a toilet (Part sells for $20 max at Lowe's) * Original quote of $2400 to replace 2 toilets...owner did us a favor by coming down to $1500. *Then there's rude, verbally abusive Christina... It took me 4 phone calls & 7 days later to finally be emailed copies of my invoices.When I asked a simple question of why I had to keep calling back, her switch was flipped, she raised her voice and yelled """" IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD """". She has no idea of how important customer relations are when it comes to a service business. We will never use them again and make sure our condominium community is put on notice.

I had just lost my Father was so tired I allowed this company to rip me off. They charged me 326 $ to fix a running toilet. He was here for 15 to 20 mins, Toilet was clean wasn't flooded or stopped up only required new parts in the tank. He called it a minor toilet tank rebuilt. Wording it so I wouldn't realize I was getting ripped off. Said 500$ for a new valve if I wanted one which I didn't need. Please don't use them.

The work was done quickly and appears well done. My problem is not with their quality but with their prices. They offer a $50 online coupon but even with that applied, $355 to change a 3/4"""" ball valve in a condo with no cutting or restoration of the drywall needed was a bit steep. Of course once they have you committed for the $85 service fee, you are pretty much at their mercy.

This is the biggest rip-off plumbing company in Coral Springs! Trust other reviews, and don't use them. The main water shut-off valve to our house needed to be replaced. All the technician had to do was cut off the old valve and solder on a new valve; it took him less than 30 minutes and we live in the same town. He charged my husband $478. Shame on you, Dattile and Sons.

I had what I assumed was a simple job of a cap coming off in my tub. Called this company and said I need service before 1 PM because I had a doctor appointment in the afternoon. No call. I recalled and asked if they were coming and the rude phone answerer said with a tone in her voice """"they will call between 11 and 1."""" It was already after 11. Went to my doctor and came home. Called another company and was serviced at the time they said they would come. Guess what, DATILE, it wasn't a tiny job, I am the lay person. it was a serious job and cost me $910. You lost!!! Never use this terrible company that did not even call me to say they were or were not coming!

We woke up hearing a water leak in our walls. A plumber suggested we call a leak specialist. We called them on a Sunday and they came first thing Monday am. 495.00 just to find the leak electronically. The website has 50.00 a service so I mentioned that and paid 445. There were here for about 45 mins and I felt that was a bit pricey for the leak detection. We got a quote for the repair and plan on shopping around.

Our water heater went out on a Sunday. We called Dattile and Sons Plumbing out of Coral Springs since they advertise that they are open 24 hours every day. The technician came out and said the thermostat went out and he could replace it for $428 and would guarantee it for 90 days or, since our water heater was old, he could put in a new water heater for $1,354. Since we were not prepared to spend that much, we chose to replace the thermostat. Then, on Tuesday morning, the water heater went out again. So his """"new"""" thermostat lasted less than 48 hours. So we called Dattile at 6:00 AM (since they are """"open 24 hours a day"""" that morning to have them come back out. First, they did not return the phone call until 11:00 AM. Then, when they did call back, the lady claimed that they don't even open until 8:00. So much for that 24 hour advertisement. By then, we had already gone to Home Depot and purchased a new water heater. So we called Dattile and asked for a refund since the thermostat did not last 90 days which they """"guaranteed."""" The lady was very rude! Told us """"if you're expecting a refund, you're not going to get it."""" She said """"the technician offered to replace your water heat and you chose not to."""" So my husband told her """"so you put a broken thermostat in our water heater because we chose not to replace it and therefore it's our fault that our water heater stopped working?"""" She replied """"well, we're not going to give you a refund."""" No way around it, this is a very shady, unreliable business and our community should stay away. Horrible experience and $428 down the drain. Everyone beware!!!!!!

Don't use this company Repaired garbage disposal and damaged our sink. We waited for 2 months for Jimmy to clean the sink that was damaged by his super garbage disposal cleaner. He never shows I question weather the disposal/drain could have been repaired or did he use the wrong solution that ate the disposal now I need to get a new sink. Total wast of money

Don,t use this company. They will rip you off. They have inexperienced staff and the lady who picks the phone is so rude and abusive. If Yelp had a negative star I would give that to this company. Please do not use them.
