We suddenly needed a new gas line installed ASAP, right at the eleventh hour of a house sale. Adan was available on short notice, worked through the weekend, and got it done in the timeframe he projected. He was accessible and flexible, and the repairs passed us for sale. It was not cheap, but his quote was under the other one we got. We were very satisfied with his service and how the situation turned out.

A few days ago, i discovered that i wasn't getting any hot water in my house so i guessed it was something to do with my water heater. I came to Yelp to find a plumber. That led me to Dash Plumbing because of 5 star review rating average, lots of good reviews, and then, what i read in the reviews, it sounded good, especially the availability, that had been a major problem for me with the previous guy i had used. i could see people had good experiences with these stressful kinds of situations. That's what i was looking for. I saw that the company information said their hours were 24/7.

This was at night that i was looking at Yelp, probably about 9pm or so. I decided to call, and if i got an answering machine, i would leave a message and expect to get a call back the next day. Adan answered the phone. I told him what was happening and he said he could come over the following day. After i hung up the phone, i felt cheered up. I was feeling stressed about not having hot water and not having a solution, until i talked to him.

Adan came on time the next day. He checked my water heater, he tried to light the pilot but it wouldn't light. Before he came i had read up about it a little using google and he said what it said on the page i was reading, it was probably the transcouple or something like that, they said that was the most common problem on the page.

He presented detailed information about the condition of my water heater. It was 10 years old and that was about the age when things start wearing out on them, and he detailed the options, repair or replace, the reasons for and against each option, and the price estimates. i was not pressured toward any option, i was just given information, and when i asked questions, i was given clear patient answers. I thought about whether to replace the water heater at this time and decided to go with the repair instead, for current financial reasons, realizing i am taking a chance that something else may go wrong on the water heater because of its age. i gave it careful thought and decided i would be able to absorb the hit if another repair was needed and i could get a new water heater at that time.

Adan needed to go to a supplier for the part. He learned at the supplier that he couldn't just replace the transcouple but needed to replace the whole assembly, the part wasn't sold separately and he called to tell me the price increase above the original estimate, and i was OK with it, it seemed reasonable and still worth the investment. He returned and went to work, he methodically performed the repair, as well as cleaning out lint. He explained various things to me about maintaining a water heater. He gave me the impression of someone who likes people and likes being able to help them and put them at ease as much as possible, knowing how stressful it can be. I enjoyed the way this service went and had a good feeling after he left, of accomplishment and the relief of putting the fear and stress behind me, and enjoying my nice hot water more than usual.

I won't hesitate to call Dash for other plumbing needs, including replacing my water heater. I can see that Adan is honest and is a good communicator, has been repairing them and doing plumbing for 20 years and is ready to share useful helpful knowledge. He was professional. He called the next day to check and see if the water heater was OK. It was. It's been working great. Mission accomplished.

When he was here, i also asked him a question about my sewer because my neighbor had told me that he had to have major work on his which cost him $40,000, and that the people that repaired it told him all the houses on my street would need that work eventually. Adan offered to use his underground camera to check on the condition of mine while he was there, and he did, and he said it looked OK, and that it was somewhat damaged by a shift in the earth in one area but since it was working OK, it wasn't yet critical. He said if the earth moved further, i could find my plumbing not working, but for now, it was ok.

Dash responded to me the same day I called. Adam was the tech. He snaked the drain of my backed up kitchen sink. I tried to plunge and used Draino with no results and that's why I called Dash Plumbing. I saw the reviews and was confident Adam could help. I was also great full they came out so quickly. 4 hrs after I called. Adam ran a camera down the drain to show me the results. I could see that the sink drain blockage was removed. He also showed me the extra grease that coated my drain pipes. I elected to have him come out the next day to run pressurized hot water through the drain lines to remove the excess grease attached to the lines that rooter or drain snake will not remove. I have a older home so it had almost 30 years of build up. I felt that doing the hot water high pressure scrub was very good advice. Adam then showed me the before and after results of the hot water pressure clean out service inside of the pipes. It's a good feeling when you can see the actual results by live camera video. They have coupons on their web site to take advantage of. I felt like this was money well spent. I highly recommend this company. Ask for Adam. They have other good employees I'm sure but Adam was great.. These guys are aces.

I had a plumbing back-up Labor Day Weekend on Saturday around noon, Adam and his crew got out to me in an hour and showed me all the problems with his camera (old terra cotta with roots, disintegrated pipes, all kinds of craziness). He walked through everything very clearly, made sure I was aware of every bit of work he needed to do and clearly explained why. For the traumatic amount of money that piping is for a new homeowner like me, he was very understanding and was able to work out an agreeable price (I've talked to neighbors who had similar jobs that weren't much different and cost significantly more). Adam and his crew worked over a three day weekend and had me ready to go so I didn't have to miss any work, did a great job, and left the yard in great shape. In short, they're surgeons and basically life-savers. Highly, highly recommended especially if you want to know exactly where your money is going.

UPDATE SINCE LAST REVIEW-Not sure if Adam is still in business. I left two messages this week and never heard back from him. I guess I didn't find my new plumber after all. If he is still in business, he is not interested in new jobs. Frustrating!

This is my second review of Dash plumbing. They're not kidding when they say Dash. Adam was out here within the hour, fixed my emergency plumbing problem at a great price and is a sweetheart to boot. Btw, it was Christmas eve!

I read all of the positive reviews and called Dash. Adan sent me a quote of $2,600.00 with permits to move some gas lines coming out of my house and out of the ground, over a few inches. (Required by city inspectors in order to replace my electrical panel.) I called another plumber (Evcor) who quoted me a price that was less than a third of Dash's quote and did the job - with permits - a couple of days later.

Adan is the man when it comes to plumbing. I found him through Yelp and have been very happy with his service. We had a major plumbing issue at our house where main sewer line connecting to city's line had to be replaced. We got an estimate from another company which was way too high because the other company did not even have a license to dig on the street. Yes, you need to have a separate license, not just regular plumbing license when it comes to digging on the city's street. The other company was subcontracting to vendors who had license to do it and so the high estimate because they take a big cut out of it. Thanks to Adan who helped us understand this. Guys, always make sure to check plumber's license on http://www.cslb.ca.gov/. Don't just get allured by 5 stars reviews. Adan has all required licenses to do any kind of job and is a bonded sewer contractor with Los Angeles city. Adan did the job for us at the right price. He has a very efficient team that handled our entire project seamlessly and finished in timely manner. Adan did not just stand there and watch his team work but he also got his hands dirty and was on site everyday. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

I highly recommend Adan for any sort of plumbing need!!!
