Company Overview

At Dash Drains, we are ready to tackle any plumbing challenges or emergencies you face. From our Beverly location, we provide services to the South Shore and Southern New Hampshire. Should you detect bad odors that might indicate a sewage problem, or if a ring has slipped into the drain, we are here for you. We provide specialized plumbing services such as drain camera inspections, rooter services, sewer cleaning, grease trap cleaning, and much more. We have emergency plumbing professionals ready to assist you around the clock. Since starting my training in 1995, I have loved this field; it’s the only job I’ve ever had. Having spent my career in the sewer and drain cleaning industry, I opened Dash Drains with the encouragement of my wife and family. I love to spend time with my two kids and enjoy playing ice hockey.

The name Dash Drains comes from my Jack Russell Terrier, Dash; if you’ve been a client, you probably know him.

I had an issue with my sewer drain being backed up. I was recommended to Dash Drains by a plumber. Sam came to my house and fixed the issue and he went above and beyond! He helped me call the City as it seems that the city sewer was backing up into my house...He was patient and even talked to the worker from the City to address the issue. I highly recommend Dash Drains and specifically recommend Sam for any work.

These guys are outstanding. I've had to use them at my business twice and was completely satisfied both times. Professional people that do good work!

It's not fun to wake up on a beautiful Sunday and see water in the kitchen sink. I tried plunging, and then went to the basement to do laundry, where I saw water all over the floor.

After researching and asking the neighbours, I called Dash Drains and Colton called back within minutes.

He came out and assessed the issue, which is that the pump is not working, and he recommended a guy to fix it. Best of all, no charge for his assessment!

Colton is very proud of his work and Dash Drains and assures me that their recommendations don't come lightly. Now I just have to hope the pump guy can fix it.

I wish there were more companies like Dash Drains where you just know they are honest and more people like Colton who leave you feeling as good as possible considering our toilets can't flush. Thanks, Colton!!

In January, our drains were not draining. In fact, everything was backing up into the cellar sink. I called the plumber who said it was a job for Dash Drains. At that point nothing was draining and I was nervous. Would we have to move out temporarily? I called Dash and was immediately calmed by the company spokesperson. He assured me that they'd get our water flowing (and flushing) again. Twenty minutes later Sam arrived. Unbeknownst to me, our breezeway door was open to the kitchen. Our dog (another Sam) leaped to his feet before I could get to him. He's very protective. Nothing to fear; the dog started wagging his tail when he spotted Sam, so I knew our visitor was a good guy. Was he ever! He was at the house for more than 2 hours cleaning out the main line. The blockage was caused by roots and located somewhere in the middle of the lawn. Sam (the technician) was confident that he could fix it. It was a huge, messy job and I felt the final invoice was more than reasonable. Next time we have drain problems, I'm calling Dash right away.

These guys are wonderful! Very pleasant on the phone, came within an hour of my call, and Charlie was so knowledgeable and obviously knew what he was doing. He cleared my sink drains which was something Roto Rooter was not able to do. He told me a previous plumber had done an incorrect installation which I suspected but I had no idea what specifically had been done wrong. These guys are super professional and are clearly experts and very skilled and saved the day for me!! Highly recommend.

I scheduled with Chris to clear a drain in our kitchen sink; an appointment was made for the following morning between 9-11. At 10:40 I called to check progress as I hadn't heard from anyone. Chris apologized, noting that the first appointments of the day all turned out to be difficult and all the techs were running late. He said I was next on the list as soon as a tech freed up. Okay, I get it ...these things happen. Note Chris was very sincere and I felt he was speaking to me honestly (when I asked for an estimate on timing, he regretfully said he couldn't offer one ...I appreciated him not placating me).

I got a call from Holly at 11:10 noting that their technician Bob would be there ""any minute."" At 11:40 still no Bob, so I called back. Holly said she didn't know but would check and get back to me. She called me back 10 minutes later saying that she didn't realize Bob was coming from Boston, as was ""...just now getting off 93; he'll be there any minute."" I live in N. Andover, and easy 15 minutes from the highway ...so Holly's comment -- while surely intended to make me feel better -- was by definition inaccurate. In my two calls with Holly, I felt I was being talked down to and getting stock answers (""any minute""). She was pleasant enough, but the conversations felt plastic: unlike my experience with Chris, she didn't seem sincere.

Bob arrived a couple minutes past noon. A very nice young man, he immediately apologized for the delay citing traffic in Boston. He listened to my brief description of the problem and gave me his diagnosis in a few simple sentences. He then went to work. As he worked, I sat at the table drafting this review. He offered occasional commentary on his progress, and even when he seemed doubtful his comments were calm and optimistic. Bob finished up his snaking at 12:40 with the simple pronouncement: ""you are clear, sir!"" A simple job done efficiently by a pleasant and polite technician. He took the time to clean up after himself carefully and completely.

I'm happy with the results of the work, the cost ($145 for a kitchen sink drain) and the way the tech and Chris handled themselves. I'm frustrated that I had to wait, and with the way Holly interacted with me. I would call them again ...but hopefully won't need to.

Chris was awesome. We had standing water in our tub thanks to a pretty bag clog deep in our drain. He came the day we called (July 4) and couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable. It's really hard to find services in the north shore that have reasonable pricing, great service, and accessible hours so it's nice to know we have a go-to guy for any plumbing related issues. Give these guys a call, you'll be happy you did.

I had a clog that I was unable to resolve using two different types of snakes. After I had had enough, I called dash drains on the recommendation of a plumber to take care of the clog. They were able to be there as soon as I got out of work, took care of the clog in 15 minutes, and at half the price of the estimated prices I found on the internet. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Sam from Dash Drain just saved our pipes from bursting. He came immediately when we called even though we thought the culprit might have been a full septic tank he said he would come check to be sure. It turned out to be an ice dam in our drainage pipe. Sam came back twice and stayed until 11PM tonight to make sure the pipes were clear. We cannot recommend Dash Drain enough, they saved us from really serious damage!

Drain clogged on Thanksgiving. I snaked but no luck (where/s the thanks in that?) so called Dash early Monday, and Sam was here by 9. We dug up septic tank, no issue there, then he brought in a huge snake (scared mine) and found the clog half way between, then replaced cap whose thread were gone, cleaned up nicely. I had him leave the septic hole open and see it as opportunity to have that pumped early, Personable, likes his job and tells me the whole company recognizes those who call for drain service already have enough issues and they go out of their way to help even the score.. Thanks Sam
