Wow. Excellent, excellent service. I had a broken water heater, and spent two days on the phone with the manufacturer's support line (it was under warranty). They diagnosed (incorrectly, as it turned out) the problem by phone and said they would send a replacement part. After waiting two days to receive it I decided it would be best to have a plumber actually look at the water heater to make sure the diagnosis was correct. I called seven highly rated plumbers, and all were busy for at least a week, and all told me that I should just wait for the part to arrive as parts were not carried locally for my brand of water heater. It looked like I was in for an extended period of cold water, and then I got a call back from Dan's Plumbing. I spoke with Bernadette, explained the problem and she thought it was likely a different issue than that diagnosed by the manufacturer (and it turned out she was right). She also said parts were available locally and that she would check on availability. She located the part and called me back within an hour and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Dan and one of his plumbers were out on time the next day and fixed the water heater (and helped with a side issue as well). Great job all around!!

THE BEST!!! Recently, we had a shower leak which Dan's guys came out to fix right away. They were FAIR, HONEST, AND GREAT PROFESSIONALS! (Word of mouth reference). Never fun having to fix plumbing issues, but they were so knowledgeable and professional. They also installed a new water heater for us at the same time, taking care to make sure it could be done that day so it would not leak any further. Dan's Plumbing should be everyone in Marin's ""go to"" plumber!!!

This is a very good plumbing company. I have used them twice and both times they have been great!. One of the times it was an emergency situation and they came to the house as soon as they could. What I like is that they answer the phone or they get back to you right away. Dan's is the only plumbing company that I will call from now on.

We had a plumbing emergency on Sunday night. My next door neighbor sent me the contact info for Dan's Plumbing and Sewer. I called Dan's at 7 am on Monday. They returned my call within 30 minutes. Jose and his assistant came out and replaced the broken shower valve before 10 am, did some other small jobs and were done before 2:30! Jose was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The work was done very well and quickly. I am going to have Jose back to put in a new water heater and make some other upgrades ASAP!

Dan is a terrific plumber--skilled, smart, and reasonable. Bernadette, his resourceful, polite, and efficient front office person and wife is a pleasure to talk with on the phone. Over the last few years, Dan has installed a toilet, dealt with clogged drains, put in pipes, and got our quirky water heater working. He comes out quickly, usually the same day, is neat, clean, and well-organized, and always polite and upbeat.

Excellent, efficient, courteous and responsive, we couldn't be more pleased with Dan's Plumbing! I called them after seeing the wonderful Yelp reviews. We had three relatively minor problems: a clogged shower drain, non-working garbage disposal and an outdoor fountain with a malfunctioning pump. Dan came over the next day, right on time and in less than 40 minutes had successfully snaked the shower, got the disposal working (it was merely jammed, which he took care of in one minute. A less scrupulous person could easily have reported it as broken and I would have purchased a new one!) , removed all the rocks in our fountain to get to the pump and took a photo of same so I could order a new pump. As soon as the new pump arrived, on Fri. afternoon, I called and we scheduled a follow up appt. for Tues. afternoon. Pump is now installed and fountain is flowing better than ever. Thanks Dan!

After getting other plumbing hourly rates/time estimates and reading reviews, we accidentally came across Dan's Yelp five star rating/reviews.
From setting up the appointment to the end of the job, Dan's is a first rate business. We had a kitchen faucet and waste disposal replaced in slightly over an hour by two excellent, fast plumbers (Jose and Tyler). They were so coordinated they must have said less than 20 words between them, each knowing exactly what the other needed and when.
I'd give them six stars if it were possible.
