Dano Plumbing & Leak Detection

Had a pre-purchase inspection completed. My agent strongly advised me to go with another plumber. Wow ...Should have listened! Several months after initial inspection by the dano plumbers we completed remodeling and moved in. Pressure valve popped and brought with it waste. Called Dano not knowing the root of the problem. After 2 half days of working on the problem, utilizing some sort of camera, issue found! A pressure testing device/ball was left in my pipes explained the dano plumber (forgetting that his partner another dano plumber was the culprit). No other plumber had ever worked at my home, we had only moved in 2 weeks before this problem appeared. When I informed him of this he quickly and adamantly denied ever completing the pressure test. He promptly handed me the close to 1000.00$ bill for me to pay. Yes 2 days at 4 hours each day equals almost 1k. I paid the bill as I had no written proof at this juncture. That evening i went through my old receipt from Dano plumbing and it clearly indicated they charged me for a pressure test. I Made several attempts to reconcile this situation with the owner to no avail. We will probably end up going to court in order to get this resolved or he will go out of business as people catch on. Unfortunate for those of us who do our best to support small business. Cannot blame this on Bush, Obama, Romney....this is just an example of poor professionalism at work. I have since found a fair honest plumber and i would strongly urge you to do the same.

Poor customer service. The person answering the phone "lost" my paperwork and told me she would call me back in 10 minutes when she found it. She then didn't call. They said someone would be at the house on 2 separate occasions at a certain time and then no one showed. When I would call to find out when someone was coming or not, they said they would call me right back and then never call. WHen they finally sent someone to fix the problem, it was fixed for 3 days and then recurred. We have now spent 2 days trying to get someone back to the house to look at it again and have yet to be successful. An overall awful experience.
