My name is Darion Jackson, and I launched Danny Boy’s Home Improvement in 2019 with a dream, a toolbox, and a goal: to deliver honest, top-quality home renovations to the Cleveland community. In 2019, I established Danny Boy’s Home Improvement not just to construct homes — but to create something of my own. As a young Black man in Cleveland, I didn’t see many individuals who resembled me owning construction companies. I noticed dedicated people in the field, but not enough of us directing the jobs, owning the equipment, or signing the agreements.
I wanted to make a difference.
I grew up observing homes fall apart in our neighborhoods, and I realized I possessed the skills to create change. I aspired to be the person people could rely on — someone who brings professionalism, pride, and true craftsmanship to every project. Starting my business was about more than profit — it was about building a legacy, opening doors, and demonstrating that we belong at the top, too.
Today, Danny Boy’s Home Improvement is a rising name in Cleveland, recognized for honest work and stunning results — particularly in kitchens and bathrooms. However, I am only at the start of this journey.
