In 2019, I founded Danny Boy’s Home Improvement not only to build homes — but to establish something of my own. As a young Black man in Cleveland, I didn’t see many individuals who resembled me owning construction companies. I witnessed diligent workers in the industry, but not enough of us leading the projects, owning the trucks, or securing the contracts.
I sought to alter that.
Having seen homes decline in our communities, I recognized I had the ability to make a difference. I wanted to be the individual people could trust — someone who delivers professionalism, pride, and authentic craftsmanship in every task. Launching my business was not just about financial gain — it was about creating a legacy, opening opportunities, and proving that we deserve a place at the top as well.
Currently, Danny Boy’s Home Improvement is an emerging name in Cleveland, known for integrity and beautiful outcomes — especially in kitchen and bathroom projects. But I’m just getting started.
