Earlier this month we enlisted this company to diagnose and correct a sewage blockage and spillage on the our property. Their invoice stated that after examining 125 ft of sewage pipe line, their equipment determined that the blockage was on municipal property beyond the residential property line. A day later, after we witnessed the municipal water and sewer service conduct a similar diagnostic with sensors and camera, it was definitively determined that the blockage was NOT 125 feet from the water cleanout starting position and was, in fact, located well within the residential property line. We have since corrected the problem. All of this begs the question, what did we receive for a $325.00 service charge? I would answer, NOTHING. Two independent, unrelated service providers confirmed that the initial diagnosis was wrong and that there was nothing done that contributed to the solving of the problem of the blockage. In addition, after speaking with numerous other plumbing services, it has come to light that the service fee was more than twice what is commonly charged for the service provided and that it is common practice to apply diagnostic fees towards actual solutions needed to solve the blockage problem. We feel as if we were, at best, recipients of less than professional and effective service and, at worst, unfairly treated and taken advantage of in time of crisis.
