I called Daniel to assess a number of plumbing-related repairs at our 1960s home including: A new shower valve, new shower spout and drain kit, new tempering valve for our hot water heater, a new washer drain line, and a new valve gasket for our whistling toilet.

I followed up with photos and he sent a quote for all of the above work via text within the hour. We set a date for the work and he showed up on-time wearing a mask and with new supplies in-hand. He assessed everything in person before starting and recommenced a new tub trap on-site since the current trap was heavily corroded. This additional item was negotiated on the spot and he was transparent about the cost of the new part and the additional labor. Daniel was good to his word that he would be able to get through everything listed above in one day, which he did. Additionally, he left the areas in which he worked spotless.

Daniel guarantees his work for a year and he also checked in a few days after the work was completed to ensure we were happy with his work and did not have any issues. These are small but reassuring measures that would make Daniel my first call in the future for any plumbing repair needs.

Overall, I would highly recommend Daniel's plumbing for residential needs if you're looking for a master plumber you can trust to get the job done on-time and done right.

Worst mistake you could make hiring Dan Smiley..a.k.a. Daniels plumbing.
Gives Starts work and never finishes..Took over 4 weeks and dozens of texts messages and phone messages to get him to show up after paying him 1/2 down. The man is liar and a cheat. BTW..he is not licensed in state of Connecticut to do heating work of any kind..yet he continues. He has a bad rap with local building inspectors and uses shotty

I hired this guy and paid him 1/2 down..worked a few hours and took off to do his remodeling business..took weeks of calls and texts to get him to come back..he did after 3 weeks but worked for an hour and left again. Had to ask him to put new parts and shut off..wasnt even going to put a shut off on my main water supply..I guess to save money.

I feel cheated by this guy..beware any plumber that says he can start right way and asks for 1/2 down.

I called Daniel's Plumbing and they came out the same day to address a leak in my dishwasher. He replaced the water line and things were working again by the end of the day. Thanks again.

We have a home in the area that we rent out and unfortunately a pipe had burst from the extreme cold. Daniel was so quick to respond and very helpful. He's been a pleasure to work with and has gone above and beyond for other issues that came up in the home. He will no doubt be our go to plumber if anything should ever go wrong in our house again. Highly recommended!
