I called Dan on short notice because my plumber didn't show up as planned, and I had a tight delivery window for new appliances.

I called at 6pm for a job at 8am the next day.

Dan called me back in minutes after I spoke with his associate, and Dan was able to pencil me in to help me out at least getting the old appliances unhooked and he was available to install a few days later. He was professional and nice.

On this interaction alone I would recommend Daniel Wright and will contact him in the future for my plumbing needs.

In 40 Years of owning a home I have finally met a plumber that shows up at the time they said they would. I had a leak which I assumed was my hot water heater. I had no idea how to even turn off my main water supply. I was in a panic so I called Names of plumbers in my area and the only one that called back was Dan. He said he would be there at 9:30 and he was. He looked at the hot water tank and told me that was not my problem. He then realized it was the water meter that had recently been replaced by the city and saw it was leaking. He also informed me that there was a large water main break in the city which was eliminating my water from coming out of the faucets. He went to the DPW and got the part to repair the meter and installed it within a few hours.
I would highly recommend Dan especially if you are clueless like me about household plumbing. I was pleased with his professionalism and his pricing, will never use anyone but him again. Thanks Dan.

My boiler was leaking water all over our basement. Rather than call a big company to check it out and charge me up the wazoo to fix it, I called Daniel Wright Plumbing. Daniel came in and fixed the problem within a couple of hours, and it the cost was fair. He even took the time to show me how to bleed out my recessed wall radiators. We will definitely deal with in the future.

Sidebar:
There's this stigma about plumbers in general. Can you trust them to do the work honestly and correctly? Are they going to overcharge you? and a bunch of other ""what if's"" that we all ask ourselves. With Daniel as your plumber, you don't have to worry about that. A family run operation is never an easy feat when trying to compete with the big boys. I'll take Daniel over them any day.

Updating my previous review to include the fact that the owner reached out to me months later stating my call fell through the cracks and I was out of his service area anyway. One more star for at least getting back to me. Even if I was in his service area I still wouldn't have heard back for months.

Absolutely amazing! Dan was a great find to fix my water heater. His turnaround time was really quick, spoke to him yesterday and showed up today with the tank. While working on the job we realized that the job was more complicated than Dan had thought but he stuck to the pricing he gave inspite of the fact that what could have been done in couple of hours had there been no complications took him 4.5 hours. Really friendly and professional guy. Would recommend him for any plumbing work. It was great doing business with him.

Absolutely amazing! Such a great find. About a year ago (yes I am late getting this in), I clogged the sink on Easter. My brother found these guys on yelp and we called Monday. They were here Tuesday to take a look. While they weren't the right people for the job, he referred me to a drain guy to unclog and then he came back to do the plumbing work... and didn't charge me for the second visit!

Fast forward to Christmas time. Our boiler stopped working. I called and left a message on Christmas Eve. Dan came over the day after Christmas (also a Saturday) and proceed to troubleshoot and showed me how to do it too. Nothing worked so we needed to get a unique part (of course). He called around and no one was open. He gave me his cell # and told me to text him if the boiler started working. It didn't and he came back Monday to fix everything. Quick service!

Now today, I noticed a puddle under the boiler. I sent him a text and two hours later I got a reply and 10 minutes later, he was at the house and again wanted to do everything possible to avoid replacing the furnace. He left for supplies and came back to seal it up... again he said to let him know how it fairs this week. In the meantime, he will get us a quote for a new boiler that I sure hope we don't have to use.

Currently, there is no puddle and we have heat... fingers crossed :)

Dan is great! Honest, efficient, and does great work. He's worked on my gas boiler and replaced a sewer line at my house. He really knows what he's doing and is a very hard worker. Professional and pleasant.

It takes a while for them to get back to you, but if you're persistent they will eventually call you back. Dan did call me back though, and showed up right when he said he would the next day.

He was pretty good, knowledgeable, and gave me some tips for avoiding this issue in the future.
