They rebuilt the inside of the tank, no more water leaking through the gasket.. but in three tries were incapable of getting the tank on straight and knocked a chip out of the tank. Also disappointed with the attitude... both from the young guys doing the work and from Daniel. Yes, the workers who built my condo may have not put the toilet on straight but, they were able to get the tank on without it listing to one side about an inch and having the tank fit against the wall so the lid won't stay in place. At the second visit the jammed the tank lid on, tight against the wall, I couldn't remove it, imagine if the toilet had begun to over flow... took two of them to lift the lid off, guy tells me ""see, it comes off""
The last visit, the young guy says, ""I hope we are done here"". If he had done it right, he could have been done the first time, can I have the tip I gave them back before I noticed how crocked the tank was and that the top didn't fit on? I know, I should have looked at the work more carefully.

At the time I was happy to have the toilet not wasting water but, months of the scraping sound of the tank lid as it moves around wondering if I should remove it so a guest doesn't chip or damage it, considering finding a plumber who who can straighten out what Stednitz didn't want to bother to do... I'm less satisfied.
I'm glad I didn't pay for them to reset the toilet and this was a trial run for a new water heater, new faucets for both bathrooms and eventually, a new sink and counter top...
And, kicking myself, I knew it was too small of a job for them, I sent a lot of texts before we set up the appointment, next time I will know, some plumbers don't feel a small job is worth doing or, worth doing right or maybe that a senior woman, doesn't deserve having the work done right.

We recommend Daniel Stednitz Plumbing. We are long time customers and were happy with their work on two bath remodels in our home. Recently, we suffered a slab leak, which necessitated a complete replumb of the house. The Stednitz crew were careful to protect the contents of the house during this major effort. They did a good. complete job and followed through with our requests and addressed all outstanding concerns. The replumb passed the City's inspection. Yesterday was the second time we called Daniel Stednitz Plumbing for an emergency. The first time, at the end of last year, a pipe broke off the main line going to our house, flooding our master bedroom. Daniel came out immediately, diagnosed the problem and had excellent options for us, minimized the disaster that was already in motion. Yesterday, my kitchen sink backed up and disgusting old food particles were spewing out. Brett and Eric were sent out and they were professional and efficient and solved my issue in 20 minutes! Plus Meredith, the receptionist/scheduler is friendly and so helpful. I would highly recommend Daniel Stednitz Plumbing and will use them for all my plumbing needs!

They are only after your money. We had a problem with one of our drains backing up into the bathtub and causing the entire house to smell like garbage. Daniel took a look at it and suggested jetting the pipe. He promised that would get rid of the problem for a long time and $700 later our drain was ""cleared"" from whatever was causing that horrible smell. Less than 2 weeks later the smell came back and when we called they sent another guy to come look at it and he said to just ""run some soapy water"" down the drain. But nope. The smell didn't go away, in fact it just got stronger and more awful. I called again and this time they sent 2 guys who proposed we spend another $800 in efforts to find out what was causing the smell, even though Daniel had ""guaranteed"" his work for 60 days. We are extremely unhappy with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

I am so happy that I found Daniel Stednitz plumbing! They not only came within 24 hours of needing them, they showed up on time and prepared! They did everything right by social distancing and wore their masks the whole time they were in my house.
