BEWARE!!!! I hired Daniel Dolinger with Daniel Dolinger Property Prep to replace my home's heating and air unit. Daniel charged me $5,200 to instill a new heating and air unit. Three days after the installation, the unit outside stopped working. One week later, the heat stopped working. Daniel came to my home and charged me $400 to fix a thermostat wire. Two weeks later, the outside began to freeze up. I have contacted Daniel multiple times, and he refuses to respond. Daniel continually replies back that I need to text him. Daniel answered my call from another number, and when he realized it was me, he hung up. Beware, as he has signs posted around the area claiming to do A/C & Heat Service for $45 to call 828-218-2484. Please do not fall for his scam! Please share this post, hoping he does not take advantage of or scam anyone else. Legal action is being taken.

Totally unresponsive. Assigned as a technician through Total Home Protection and never contacted me to set an appointment to see AC. I called and emailed for over two weeks with no response from technician at number provided. Stay away from them if you need someone to show up or communicate with you. Don't waste you money on this company!

December 27, my water heater went out. I have Total Home Protection insurance. That is also a waste of money and time. Hooked up with Daniel Dolinger Property Prep. They replaced the elements, two days later, No Hot Water. Called, no response, called Total Home several times, finally they contacted Dolinger ,he said there was nothing wrong and refused to do the repair. Total Home said they could not find anyone to repair the water heater.One call later I had someone coming to fix it. The new elements that Dolinger installed had burned up because they didn't fill the tank completely. I think they should return my service call fee. I will not ever have them back.

I also have had similar poor experience with Daniel Dolinger. He was referred to me by my brother in law for refrigerator repair. I didn't look him up before to confirm that refrigerator repair was his specialty, but he didn't say that it wasn't.

He came for the initial visit in mid September and charged us $60, advised us that he had to order the part and we haven't seen him since. After many calls, we finally received one call back in which he asked for the make and model of the appliance (what??). He scheduled to return with the part on Oct. 29th, but never showed up or called.

Do not waste your time or money with this provider. I'm ready to file a BBB report as well.

Daniel Dolinger Property Prep was contracted by Total Home Protection to repair my washing machine. Tony E their technician come the next day. He told me the dog ears were broken & the coupling wasn't broken but they do break often so he was going to order both parts. He said they are inexpensive and the warranty should cover. Total Home Protection denied my claim stating the problem was cased by rust and lack of maintenance. I asked Tony to give me a price for the parts so I could decide to repair or replace the washer. He was to call back within 1 hour on 4/18/2019 with price. 3 hrs later I called him & he had $63 price for one part but supplier was having trouble finding other part. After speaking with Total Home Protection on 4/22/2019, Daniel was to call back before end of day with parts price. Received call that he would have Tony call me since he was in my home & knew the exact problem. 4/25/2019 I called a local business to get my washer fixed for a cost of 229.34. I had already paid Tony $45.00 service call for Total Home Protection. To date (5/7/2019) I have not received a call back from Tony E. Total Home Protection is refunding my full cost plus giving me a free service call next time for the sorry service I received from their contracted company Daniel Dolinger Property Prep. Beware of this company especially technician Tony Edney.

This ""company"" (scam artist) was sent to my home by Total Home Protection (Home Warranty) for a leak in my washer and dryer squeak... The ""technician"" was in my home less than 10 minutes... The ""diagnosis"" was a front pump seal that had gone bad on the washer and a pulley assembly and belt on the dryer... Collected my $60 Service Fee... Was going to have the parts delivered directly to our home... when they arrived to give them a call... 3 weeks later... Warranty company reports the technician says there is nothing wrong with the dryer and the washer is leaking due to a rusted through drum... there is not a single spot of rust... of course the claim has been denied... this POS scam artist has now blocked my number and will not answer any text messages... Unless you like to throw away your money, stay as far away from these jokers as you possibly can! I think it is time to contact the BBB and the Attorney General!

Daniel Dolinger was sent to my house by Choice home warranty for hvac. He run a leak test for Choice. They denied my claim after they lied about my claim. Contacted Choice and argued with them for over an hour. They finally offered me a buyout. I was very upset with Choice because they offered all these savings and replacement if it cant be fixed when you sign up. When it truly boils down to it they are the real crooks stealing people's money. Called around and got quotes for my entire system. Choices buyout price would pay for just outdoor unit not even the labor according to all the quotes I recieved. So I decided to call Daniel back just to see. He quoted me for indoor and outdoor unit. I only had to pay 100 dollars. Compared to the 700 to 1000 I would've had to paid other companys. So guess who I went with! Since then I have dropped Choice and decided to call him for all my appliance repairs!

Daniel accepted our assignment through Choice Warranty. Him and his partner came out said we needed a new thermostat and wires. That didnt get the air on, then he said we needed a blower motor. Paid for that. Now my air unit won't turn off and he has told choice he is not accepting any more jobs in our area. Do not use this business.

Daniel Dolinger did a leak test on my AC Unit. He took $345 and never gave us a description of where the leak was. He basically took our money and ran with it. He didn't call back for four days either. I would not recommend this business to anyone, as he's very unprofessional.
