Company Overview

Our company focuses on wood extraction primarily to meet landowners' expectations while promoting responsible forest practices to maintain that your woodlot remains healthy and capable of future cutting. We aim to improve your timber stand by thinning overgrown trees, allowing younger timber to grow without obstruction from larger trees that restrict light and slow their progress. We can execute a total clear cut, we typically steer clear of such methods unless needed for agricultural requirements.

Moreover, we offer dangerous tree extraction for metropolitan clients dealing with unsafe or unattractive trees. Our primary service is taking down trees rather than pruning them.

We also sell small and large bundles of firewood for fireplaces and outdoor heating. Soon, we will expand our offerings cord wood.

Established in Springfield, Missouri in 2013, we began with just cutting tools and a Chevy flatbed truck doing tree removals for neighbors and taking firewood to my relatives for their wood stove. As we received more requests, we developed our services to include collecting and transporting fuel wood for stoves. Eventually, we upgraded from one truck, a few chainsaws, and a manual splitter to two trucks, a gas-powered wood splitter, a hauling trailer, half a dozen saws, and a utility vehicle we adapted into a log skidder. Today, April 4, 2020, we are building a mechanical loader to enhance production and streamline our loading process, so we don’t need to load trucks by hand. So far, so good.

I started Daniel Carpenter Services in the year 2013 to collect timber for lumber and use the tops for firewood, which I provided to my relatives since that was how they managed their house instead of permitting the debris to rot in the woods.
