I had a terrible experience with Dan the Plumber. He was the most disrespectful and unprofessional person and wasted 3+ weeks of my time when he could have been up front from the getgo. We got a quote from him while buying a house and received that money in escrow. After we got the house, we tried scheduling an appointment with him immediately and he kept saying he would ""call us back"". After many tries to schedule- we eventually got an appointment and my fiance skipped work in order to be there for him. He DIDN'T SHOW UP! When she called him, he made a million excuses on why they didn't have time and that our house ""wasn't an emergency so we should go with someone else"" and blamed it on us...Completely wasted our time and are left with having to find a last minute plumber in order to fix everything before we move in. Extremely pissed off- don't ever give this guy your business.

I attempted to do business with Dan. He was very nice and helpful on the phone, and we set an appointment for the afternoon. I told him that I was at work but would leave work to meet with him, and I texted him to let him know when I was headed home so he can reach me on my home phone. I got no response, so when the time approached, I called to verify that he was still coming. At that time he said his guys were still on another job but that he would contact them and get right back to me. Almost two hours later, at 4:45 p.m., he texted me that they were stuck and could not do the job.

I understand that sometimes jobs go south, but his lack of follow-through on communication left me in a position where not only did I not get the job done, but it was too late to even contact someone else to get it done this day. I'll never try to do business with him again and definitely could not recommend this flake that doesn't let you know until it's too late.

Dan the Plummer? More like Dan the Man!! :)

I recently replaced a kitchen faucet and all went well except for the fact that my hot water supply fed my faucet and my dishwasher...the original install was done oddly and was now seeping. I called Dan and rather than selling me on coming over he talked me through it...I took pictures and basically $8.54 later at Ace Hardware...I easily replaced the old parts with a 3-way Add-A-Tee...done.

It's not often in these situations that you get this type of help....and I very much appreciated it.
