They rescheduled the work several times, but did not inform me until I called to ask where is the crew. On multiple occasions, they did not show up when they said they would. I recommend finding a different provider.
My experience was not what I expected. I had used this company about 25 years ago and received excellent service. This time I called them because I had a leak in the back bedroom ceiling and when the insurance company representative went in the roof he found it was not the roof but one of the gutters needed to be turned a different way. I called Dan the Gutterman in January and was told they couldn't accept new clients for 4 to 6 weeks. Okay. So I keep in touch with them. I even forwarded the report from the guy who was on my roof telling them exactly what needed to be done. So in May I had knee replacement surgery and was away from my home for almost 3 weeks. During that time they called and said they had been out and determined how much it would cost. This was left on my home phone answering service. I called as soon as I returned home and the lady who answered said she would set up an appointment. In June the appointment was scheduled and on the morning of the appointment I got a call from Garrett at 9:58 am telling me he was ""20 minutes away"". I waited all day and he did not show up. I called the office the next day and the lady who answered said she would check with him to see what happened. She called me back later in the day and told me that Garrett said he had been to my house, rang the bell, knocked on the door and no one answered. I told her that was impossible since I have RING doorbell and if he did it would alert me that someone was at the front door and since I'm still in recovery mode I don't leave home very much. She basically said ""I don't know what to tell you, that's what he said"". She then said she would reschedule for the following Monday. Monday came and went and nobody. Mind you she had me send payment to her way back in May when we scheduled. Finally 2 weeks ago a guy called and said he was on the way and he actually made it and the work was done. I mentioned this to a colleague of mine and she said if she had known that I had contacted this company she would have stopped me. She knew a little more about the company and the owners and how the business had been doing since the Dad passed away. I will not use them again and hope this review helps others
I wish I had seen Dan the Gutterman reviews on this sight. No one came out to estimate, which they advertise they do, instead they looked at my house on goggle earth. From my 1st communication I said I wanted to be here. Their timeline for getting here was, "" as soon as we can""?, said in the middle of June,""Today they emailed saying I didn't have to be here,I ans right back saying I want to be here, call 5 min before u will get here, I'm 3 blocks away with grandkids. They never called have been here an gone an my valleys weren't cleaned out. I didn't go for the cheapest company, I went for their expanded abilities they advertise. I'm speechless as to how bad they really are! I don't plan on paying their bill until they get back to me.
I've used this company in the past just to have my gutters cleaned out. I would call, leave a voice message and someone would be out within a week to clear out the gutters. Not sure what happened in the last few years but they're service now is terrible. I called them on May 29th and she said it would be a week to 10 days. It's now June 10th and no one has been out. I called them a few days ago to ask when I should expect someone and they haven't called back. Not sure how they're staying in business. I'm searching for someone else to do business with.
I needed a drainage pipe repaired, it was leaking into my lawn. Called in October 2018 to set the appointment, they told me it would be a month before they could make it out to my house. The sent me an invoice in November 2018, had to collect $225 fee for NEW CUSTOMERS...without even speaking to me or coming to my house. Needless to say I didn't pay it, I never heard from them and randomly on January 9,2019 they arrived unannounced and started working on the pipe! The pipe was unable to be fixed, and they still attempted to collect the new customer fee from me. I paid them after they told me what needed to be done to fix the issue, they never called back or returned. Pipe is still unfixed. I think about this horrible company every time it rains and my yard floods. Thanks Dan

Seth M.Gave me an estimate to have the work done on installing new drain line. I chose them since they were the lowest bid (big mistake, I guess you get what you pay for).
They started digging into my neighbors yard and when they were made aware, they didn't seem to understand what the issue was!
Once they realized they could not cut through the neighbors yard, they tried to shake me down for additional money as it was taking too long??!!??
They also destroyed my yard and made no attempt to clean anything up. They cut through my sidewalk because it was too difficult to dig underneath.
I recommend staying far away from these people.
Juliet W.First time I called them, they came and did OK. Cleaned the gutters with a leaf blower, which seemed weird to me. Second time I called them was in November. They said it would be 2 or 3 weeks. Never showed. Called again on December 20, no answer, no call back. Called again at the end of December, the woman who answered said she didn't know why Suzanne hadn't added me to the schedule, said they'd send somebody out that week. Friday of that week I called to remind them that that was their last day to send somebody. Didn't get a call back, nobody showed. So, after 4 attempts over 3 months to get them to do the work, they're fired.
I called a few weeks ago to request an appointment. They said someone could come out the week of 12/3-12/7 and that they would call me that week with a specific date. No call and no one showed, so I left a message on 12/6 for an update. No response. Called again on 12/12 and left a message again, still no response. VERY POOR customer service. I understand if you are busy this time of year, but to not show up and not even call back is unacceptable.
Justin D.My experience with them is coming from inside the company. I scheduled a training day with Suzanne where we agreed upon a set pay, and she barely gave me a third of what we agreed upon. I don't doubt that they did this to all the other trainees.
As far as the work we did, IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Use it elsewhere. We blew the gutters out with a leaf blower and left. I was shocked at how much they were charging.
The guy that was ""training"" just wasted time at every site, always had a cigarette lit, pocketed money from non customers who asked to have they're gutters cleaned and gave no concern to the safety of anyone but himself.
Spend your money on people who care, not Dan the Gutter Man
I had a downspout that was misaligned and leaking water when it rained under the deck. When I called they came and inspected and the guy quotes ""about $200"". The office then send an official quote the next day for $350. When I called to protest, they immediately reduced the price by $75. Then after three weeks 3 guys came to fix the issue. They came and saw the place, and left saying they need to go get the equipment. Came back about 90 minutes later. Then they removed the existing spout and tried to fix a pipe, but it was not long enough. so instead of aligning it along the wall they aligned it across. did not have enough fasteners to fasten the pipe to the underside of the deck. Then did not have the sleeves to correctly connect the pipe to the drain. every 10 minutes they needed to get some equipment from the truck, one of them will disappear for about 15 minutes. finally, they did not tape or screw or do anything to fix the pipe to the downspout - used one of my plant pots to prop it up (which was a couple of inches too short) and left.. I finally had to engage someone else to fix it properly. The only remotely professional person in this entire set up is Suzanne who answers the phone. will never call them again!
