I recently had an issue with an outside water spicket that had burst - causing water to drain into my inside wall, and down under my floors inside my condo.

My condo association uses Terry Plumbing for all plumbing issues within my complex. As soon as the wall inside my home was taken down, the very next day Terry Plumbing was out to repair this broken pipe.

Not only were they efficient in the work they did here, they were courteous, punctual, and went out of their way to address a few other plumbing concerns that I had some questions about.

Ironically today I received a call from a tenant I have at my rental unit, requiring a plumber for a backed up toilet. I didn't even hesitate to give Terry Plumbing a call!

I highly recommend calling them! You won't be disappointed !

We were very disappointed with this service. The plumbers weren't prepared for the job. There was almost a major oil spill in my basement and they had to run back to their shop for parts. The price went from $400 to $1000 dollars with no communication. We tried to talk to the owner about the bill. He came to our house with an inflated chest and a foul attitude. I asked him to leave he wouldn't and he told his plumbers to get their tools to take apart their work. Please do not ever use this company.

He came for multiple problems and was very honest and helpful. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again.

This guy has a bad temper and will overcharge you for anything. I hired him to hook up my propane tank and space heater, he couldn't get the work he did to pass the inspection. he could not fix or identify where the leak was coming from. after spending over $1340 i'm left to find someone else to finish the job i hired him for. I had the worst experience working with this contractor. Please stay as far away from Dan Terry plumbing as possible.

Dan and his protégée Chris arrived promptly to repair an outdoor faucet and valve that had froze and was spewing water into my basement. These guys know their stuff and quickly assessed and permanently fixed the issue. I don't understand the few negative comments that are posted, they were true professionals and took pride in their work. They are now my go to plumbers and will definitely hire them again.

Called Terry Plumbing after the shut off valve they installed at a non profit facility broke off two days after install. They were rude, snickering and laughing while I tried to explain what happened and then just brushed off my concerns about the wrong brackets being used and blamed it on user error. I asked to speak with the owner and they told me he would call and set up a time to meet me and then proceeded to ask about the location of the broken parts multiple times. Luckily I took them with me bc the owner Dan showed up at the facility about 30 mins later without notice, asking the staff for the broken pieces. While they showed him what happened, he proceeded to raise his voice and swear, blaming everything on the staff and had to be asked TWICE to leave the premises. He then called me, with an attitude and raising his voice..I asked him to please stop yelling and he yelled over me so I just hung up on him. Never ever again. They don't clean up after themselves, the quality of work is poor, and it takes them forever to complete a job. Over 3 months to install washer/dryer hookups too with barely any communication. These people are crooks..AVOID

Mr. Terry is an extremely rude and discourteous man and I would suggest taking your business anywhere else. I made an appointment for a repair and he just couldn't be bothered to show up or return any of my calls after he missed the appointment. Steer clear of this bozo.

NO NO NO!

Hard to get a hold of, if repair is not done correctly you can't get them back. Repair was done, still leaking, came back to fix, still running toilet, said they would be back....NO SHOW! Now have to pay another plumber to do the job correctly.

I had two plumbing problems: a shut-off valve was leaking at its stem and a pressure reducing valve had failed (downstream static pressure over 100 psi, too high).

First problem was fixed by Terry Plumbing by tightening the nut more than I had dared to. Thank you.

Regarding second problem was told pressure reducing valve only works to reduce pressure when water is flowing. No fix necessary. Got a second opinion from Burr Plumbing (Waterford, CT). They removed/replaced pressure reducing valve. Downstream static pressure is now a safe 45 psi.

Also was advised by Terry Plumbing to flush tankless hot water heater to remove scale when in fact New London city water is soft (53 ppm TDS) so this service is not advised by manufacturer.

So, one simple fix and two bad recommendations for a total cost of $100 for a house call and far less than one hour of work. I would recommend Burr Plumbing.
