I highly recommend Dan Does Plumbing. It was a pleasure doing business with Dan from the get go. I had the Board of Water Supply out to look at a leak in my yard near my sidewalk. They determined that it wasn't their responsibility. I called Dan and he asked me to text a picture of the leak in my yard and he was able to diagnose the problem and he gave me a quote right then via text. Once he was on site he saw that there was more to it and the new price quote was very reasonable. Upon further work it was determined that the leak WAS actually coming from the Board of Water Supply's valve box and pipes. Dan was very knowledgeable about what to do next and suggested that we file a claim to get reimbursed for the small amount he charged us for the service call. Thank you, Dan!

Dan does an incredible job! I submitted a request on Yelp, he was very responsive, called to ask me about the issue we were having and was able to immediately diagnose the problem. He made it a priority to get to our house to complete the work as we had guests coming even though it was a busy time of year, he was able to fit us in. Very knowledgeable, very personable, and excellent to work with.

Called Dan and guess what?! He answered the phone-woohoo what a surprise.I told him my garbage disposal wasn't working but was humming when turned on, and the sink was backing up. With the holidays and all, definitely need clear drains. He was so nice! He told me the blades in the disposal were likely jammed. He said to use the tool that came with the disposal (similar to an Allen wrench). And to call him if it didn't fix my problem. Well, did you know this little tool is supposed to come with your garbage disposal? I've had several disposals installed and have never seen it. When I checked online, sure enough the tool IS included with the disposal! We were able to buy a Jam Buster at Lowe's for $7.98. A few cranks (1..5 minutes) later, and my disposal was working and my drain was clear. Thanks Dan for a very merry Christmas! What a great present. I'll definitely call when I need an expert plumber! Happy Holidays- I know mine will be.

Dan responds quickly...A+ for that! I had wanted him to look at the dishwasher (possible) pipe leak, as the last two times it was used the floor started buckling to the side of the dishwasher and the new garbage disposal wasn't working. I was quoted $125. My adult son came to my house to meet Dan who was about 40 minutes late, and he found the garbage disposal plug came loose (wow, I feel pretty dumb checking all breakers and not the plug, lol) but neither of the men could operate the dishwasher, so while I was on the phone with my son trying to be the go-between, I asked if Dan could clear two slow drains upstairs (in the same bathroom) which he did. Then he buzzed out the door saying he couldn't diagnose the leak issue if the dishwasher wasn't working. As soon as he left I asked my son to check the delay function and sure enough, the dishwasher was on a delayed cycle. My son ran to the door but Dan was pulling away. I messaged but he answered a few minutes later saying he had 3 other jobs to get to that day and could come back another day. Last night my invoice came and it was DOUBLE the quote: $250 - that's $10 per minute at my house! Dan's reply upon my questioning the charge is that he charges $125 per drain. Wow, maybe I'm out of touch with plumber pricing...I'll let you the consumer be the judge. If the dishwasher issue could have been fixed I would feel the price was worth it, but now I have to wait to get that job done and will be calling someone else to do the job.

Dan did a great job with replacing two 15+ year old toilets and a 15+ year old shower head that wasn't even putting out water due to calcium buildup from not being used. He and his helper hauled away the old toilets after which was extremely helpful since I don't own a truck. He arrived on time and didn't charge extra for the fact that he had to drive to a bunch of places trying to find a part that he needed to fix the water pressure in the shower. Very responsive via yelp, which is hard to find with labor workers who either don't respond or take hours/days to respond. He accepts credit card. Very reasonable prices. I'd definitely contact him again for any future plumbing issues (hopefully won't have to though).

This was Dan's second trip to my home. This time it was to replace an 18 year old water heater. Dan was early and finished the job within 45 minutes! Efficient, affordable and professional. I would highly recommend Dan for any plumbing job!

Dan repaired my toilets, and they now work like new again! My wife's reaction: Amazing! Dan responded quickly to my request for a quote via the Yelp app, and arrived at my home on time. He even showed me how to do the repair myself so I don't ""have to pay a plumber next time."" He's a good guy. Good sense of humor too!
