I had used another local A/C company for many years... My A/C unit had stopped cooling so the company charged me for 3 visits only to tell me I needed a new unit. After paying for 3 visits and the unit still not working, I called Air Clean & they came out the next day & informed me I only needed a new part, a relay switch, not a new unit! I had used Damm Good Plumbing and Air for almost 10 years. Gradually, there began to be problems that I was willing to overlook; sloppy installation of a sliding bar shower, a collapsed air duct after a duct cleaning, etc., etc. This time the issue is serious in my eyes. I paid for my annual a/c maintenance visit, even though the job couldn't be completed because needed materials (a replacement cable, a coating compound) weren't on the truck. A month passed before Damm Good returned to finish up. Here is where the company and I disagree. I got an invoice listing zero as the labor and visit cost, but $160 as the cost of the cable, which is sold at Lowes and throughout the internet at $20 - $50. The company said that although it was listed as materials cost, the $160 was actually for labor and a visit and that I was wrong in believing the service was included in the maintenance package. I paid the additional $200 (under protest), but I still believe, correctly or not, that I was overcharged.

Installed faulty equipment will not stand behind work done less than 1yr prior states no warranty. Other issues were mis-diagnosed causing massive water loss & mold.

Damm Good Plumbing & Air damaged an art piece that I have that was directly below one of the air intakes that they serviced when I had the air ducts system in our home cleaned. When I brought this to their attention via email with pictures, they said it was from when I moved. This art piece has been in my home and just before the service, I was going to try to move it but it was too heavy to attempt so I left it where it was. It was art leaning against the wall. It did not have the damage on it before the service as I had just looked at it when prepping the house for service and it's always been wrapped when moving (over a year ago). After the service was done, when I went back into the room it was in to get the room put back to order after the service, the art piece was damaged. They refuse to acknowledge they did this and blamed it on something else. This is not a good way to business. The art work was not cheap. And they refuse to acknowledge the damage.

I needed 3 outside hose bibs replaced as they were original from 1973, Brian had to chisel the block to get access but he did a nice job with the install and the block cement patchwork, now I no longer have to worry if the old hose bib will turn off after watering my plants. They were on time and I was happy with the price as well.
