I recently had a leaking garbage disposal and didn't know who to call so I logged on to the internet and found Dalton Plumbing who was local to Lee's Summit and had one 5 star rating so I thought I would try it out. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the results. He quickly assessed the situation, knew exactly what to do, had the parts to do it and replaced my garbage disposal in less than an hour. I bought a 100 year old house in the Valentine neighborhood in Kansas City in 2003. The house's plumbing was in a shambles, with corroded galvanized steel pipe, leaking water service, water heater at the end of its life, and deficiencies that were code violations. Doug Dalton and I crafted a plan to bring the house's plumbing up to date. Doug was very creative: He took my ideas, added his own, and, working within my allowed budget, created a new water service with copper pipes, water heaters whose automatic safety features prevent both fire and flood, redundancies that increased service life dramatically and a maintenance plan that keeps the house's plumbing working as well today as it did nearly 10 years ago when all the plumbing and appliances were brand new. The house no longer wastes water. Doug learned about new devices and applied new technology to help our plan. The house may be very old, but it functions as a modern house and Doug did an outstanding job. He also remained very available later for emergencies and to give me sage advice when I need it.
