Devon just left our residence after inspection of our heating and cooling units. He thoroughly checked out the units and cleaned parts. He was very friendly and informative and gave us a heads up on what we could do at our end.
Jake replaced two faucets and a shut off valve. He did good work. The price was exorbitant. I do not recommend this company not a good value.
As a new homeowner dealing with AC issues, I reached out to Dalton for assistance because I knew the previous owner had utilized their services. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been frustrating. My father who has worked with machinery for 40+ years thought the capacitor was the issue but was not comfortable with repairing it. The technician, Josh, looked over my AC unit & confirmed it was in fact the capacitor. While Josh was courteous & efficient during his visit, I started to have some concerns after he left that day. Research showed capacitors typically cost $10 - $20, yet Dalton charged me nearly $500. This steep markup left me feeling taken advantage of & angry. On June 10th my father called Dalton seeking clarity on the pricing (specifically an itemized receipt). He was promised a callback from a manager but as of today, June 18th, he has not received any update, which is not only frustrating but unprofessional. As a young, single woman navigating homeownership, I hoped Dalton would treat me fairly. Their failure to do so has left me questioning their integrity & service ethics. I expect Dalton to address this issue in a timely manner.
y review of Daltons was good until I spent a little over $13,200 on a new furnace and AC unit April 29th. 2 days later, the AC unit started making a noise that was loud enough in my sons room, he couldn't sleep at night now. The old 22 year old one never did this mind you. They have been out there three times and it's still doing.
I spoke with a manager named Jeremy last Tuesday who stated a representative with Luxaire would be in town Monday and they were going to come look at it. Monday came and nobody showed or called. I called and Jeremy was off and no Luxaire guy was scheduled to come to my house that anyone else knew about at Daltons. They said they would have Jeremy contact me when he got back on Tuesday. Tuesday came and no call again. It is now Wednesday, May 22nd, and again, Jeremy has not called me, I have to shut my AC unit off at night so my son can sleep and they obviously don't care because the way have been paid.
The Luxair guy did arrive and identify the issue. He said he would order the part and someone would contact me and let me know when they would be here to fix it. That was on May 22nd and today is June 10th. I've left numerous messages with the very nice ladies who take my phone calls. They say they give my messages to the manager Jeremy and he never returns my calls. Legal will be the next step I guess.
DO NOT go through Daltons if you expect any issues with new install after you have paid.
My mother, who is 77 is new to the area and her heater stopped working. Dalton's had a sticker on the furnace so that is who she called. A tech came out and after looking at it recommended a new HVAC system and a new water heater. Water heater was working perfectly fine, total cost 18,000.00! Luckily she called me, I told her to have him just fix the heater, 400.00 for the repair. Less than a month later it is having the same problem.
Edit... A pressure valve was sticking another company replaced it for less than Dalton's cost for just unsticking it for a while.
I agree with Kathy. Called them to fix a clogged kitchen sink/faucet. The service man said he couldn't repair it without ""destroying"" it. He offered to install a new faucet for the ""bargain"" price of $909.00. ( this included a soap dispenser). When selecting a new Delta faucet and soap dispenser the retail prices were shown ($118 for the faucet, $$53 for the soap dispenser). Service man said to ignore the prices because he could get the products cheaper. Assuming (generously) the material and taxes cost $200. Dalton's final was $978.00. The service man spent 2 hours installing the new faucet and soap dispenser. When I asked about Dalton's hourly labor rate he responded they didn't have one. Installation of a faucet was a fixed rate.
Doing the math, $978.00 charge, minus $200 for materials leaves $778.00 for labor. Divided the 2 hours spent to install the faucet equals $379.00 per hour labor. I would advise looking elsewhere for your plumbing repair needs.

Signed up 12/21 comfort care connection agreement a one year contract. $13.11 charged to my credit card monthly. November of 2022 I sent them a letter asking them to not renew my contract. I also called in December 2022 asking them to not renew. January and February of 2023 they are still trying to draft my account. I called again today and sent an email to not renew contract. Do not do business with these people. They were always trying to up sell us on any service we needed. We even had one of the electricians tell us that they charge more than most places. Best advice. Do not use them.
